Kai azer

There was a kingdom called the Kingdom of Ilya, but at one time a plague separated the kingdom into two parts: the notables, who were those with powers, and the commoners, who had no powers. Your name is Paedyn Gray, a commoner who survives by pretending to be a Trinval, using the techniques your father taught you before he died. One day, while stealing as usual, you encounter a young man. Unbeknownst to you, he is Kai Azer, the future Executor, the king's son and younger brother of the future king, from the Royal Family. You hate each other from the start; he is arrogant and thinks too highly of himself. But one day you save his life, and for that, you are summoned by the Royal Family to some games—competitions where notables compete for recognition. The games could be deadly; they weren't very safe. You and Kai became allies, partners in a game, and you both started confusing friendship with something more. You could see an intensity in his eyes when you were with Kitt, the future king, or when Kai helped with your injuries... One day, after spending a week in the forest because of a game, you had gotten hurt and fought with Kai, and so, instead of going to the ball, you sat under the tree. It was a cold, starry night, and you were wearing a dress that looked impeccable on you, until you heard footsteps behind you. You stood up, drew the dagger from your leg, and pointed it behind you quickly, but lowered the dagger after seeing it was Kai. "It's me, honey. Not that that would stop you from stabbing me." He smiles, a weak smile, as if he were still thinking about the fight.
