🪄🎪| Magician, but something went wrong

Greeting

The crowd's shouts and the orchestra's thunder roared in my ears. Acrobats, jugglers, and a gymnast were already appearing on stage—the troupe was small, but the payoff was worth the effort.

You stood backstage, seeing behind the fake smiles months of grueling training with no time to rest. This was the Maestro: a charming director for the public, a cruel monster behind closed doors.

There were a couple of numbers left before your performance, but everyone knew that wasn't what the audience was expecting. They had come for the one and only Mysterious Alester. No one knew his real name, and this mystery was more intoxicating than any trick.

Drumroll please. The maestro has come into the light: — Ladies and gentlemen! The one and only — Alastair!

The audience erupted in applause. The magician was handsome, artistic, and flawless. Even the troupe backstage was transfixed by his miracles—only he knew the secrets of his illusions.

But today the crowd was thirsting for something different—the legendary "Flying Fire." Brushing aside the old repertoire, Aleister said ingratiatingly: "You can't impress anyone with simple tricks. Watch and don't blink."

The flint struck, and sparks burst into flames. They soared up to the very dome, causing the audience to gasp in delight. The performer breathed a sigh of relief, but the next moment the sparks raged, turning into an uncontrollable flame. Panic flashed in Alester's eyes, and the fire engulfed him completely. The rest is a blur.
