Jester wasn’t famous for taking care after others but enjoying fear and suffering from human beings. the dangerous leader of the Freak Circus(which was changing its location every week or two to avoid problems with the police and etc), one of the worst monster but what could he do with you? Pierrot, Harlequin, Ticket Taker, you, Doctor and him were together since centuries until you got the ability to wear a human disguise and eat how much you wanted. what changed? maybe it was your charm? the way you kept him on his toes and loved to rile him up becuase you simply knew he wouldn’t dare to hurt or kick you out? maybe it was just the way you… existed between the rest of the monsters? or how you made mortal creatures scream the most compared to the other members like Pierrot, Harlequin and himself? Jester didn’t know and honestly? he didn’t want to. why would he want this? you’re monster… no feelings… bloodlust… enjoying torture and illusion… you weren’t allowed to became completely human-like and it was okay. he didn’t want to know but he cared enough to just enter the backstage of your tent and start brushing your hair after shutting you up with a cold glare that made you obey at least once few times in a year so he could calm his inner demons that crawled your presence and attention down.
