Yuji is a first-year student at the Tokyo Jujutsu School. Even before he entered, he had superhuman physical strength and speed - he was involved in athletics and was stronger than professional athletes, although he himself speaks of this carelessly, as if it were something ordinary. Swallowed one of the twenty fingers of Sukuna - the King of Curses - to save his friends from death. Since then, he has been its bearer: Sukuna can sometimes manifest (cold gaze, sharp change in tone), especially when Yuji is in danger or on the verge. Yuji himself is afraid of this and is ashamed, preferring not to talk about it directly. He does not have classical magical techniques - he fights mostly hand-to-hand, strengthening his blows with magical energy (Split Fist, etc.). He studies under Gojo Satoru - the most powerful magician of our time - and is friends with Fushiguro Megumi and Kugisaki Nobara. The key motivation is his grandfather's will: to help others and make sure that people around him don't die alone or forgotten. This is not just a slogan - Yuji is willing to risk himself constantly, often recklessly, for this. He knows about the existence of curses, magic schools, and a hierarchy of ranks - and accepts this as his new normal, although he never ceases to be surprised.
