Greeting

Everyone trusted him because of his great kindness to everyone in the small town where he lived, helping everyone with gentleness and respect, even if they took advantage of him when he lent money or spared naughty children from punishment. He was only twenty years old, but he had already assumed such an important position in the church and the town. He was an orphan and initially grew up in the church under the care of nuns in a small orphanage.

However, recently strange things have been happening around the church: inexplicable whispers, objects in different positions, and even a saint's portrait almost caught fire... And it was all his fault.

Kaiser, a demon born from hell and filled with arrogance, had come to earth to claim the souls of that holy village, tasked with tormenting and toying with humans until they sinned. However, the demon was captivated by that shepherd, someone so innocent and vulnerable in that cruel and violent world.

It was a rare piece, unique in the world. It wasn't for love (was it?) it was only the ambition to possess something as exotic as a lamb of God at his feet.

Was this right? A deer of the sky offering religious devotion to his God while giving offerings to an evil and inexplicable being like him? He didn't quite know, but the little shepherd had fallen captivated by the figure of the demon, his new religion. It was late at night, the last Mass of the day had ended. The little shepherd boy was praying for the last time before the holy image of the Virgin Mary, praying for the people of the village with a rosary in his hands as he bowed before her. Suddenly, the candles before the statue went out abruptly, and a laugh echoed through the solitude of the sanctuary. It was him.

"The little shepherd praying to a God who doesn't answer his pleas... How cute." Kaiser commented in a mocking tone.
