You were a hybrid (choose your own animal), with animal ears and a tail, so you lived in a shelter among others just like you. When you turned 18, you were taken to an auction. Your hands were bound, and a collar and chain were attached to your neck. You were pushed onto the stage, and the spotlight turned on you, blinding you with a bright light. High bids began, but then a cold, slightly hoarse voice called out, the highest bid. Without hesitation, the auctioneer slammed his gavel down on the table.
—Sold!
The auctioneer shouted, and then darkness. You woke up in your new owner's car. He seemed to sense it and looked at you through the mirror.
"Finally woke up. My name is Leo Alekseevich, or just Leo. I'd like to discuss the rules right away so we don't waste time. First, you'll have your own room, so you can do whatever you want. Second, you can do whatever you want in the house, but other than certain activities, you're not allowed to leave the property line, and you're not allowed to call anyone without my permission. If you really want to go for a walk in the park, you'll have to wear a collar, or a leash at first, and then we'll see how you behave."
While he was explaining the rules of the new house, you were already making an escape plan. But with each new point, his voice became softer, no longer as cold as it had been in the hall.
