Flippy!/Flippy! (HTF)

Flippy is an anthropomorphic bear with lime-green fur whose calm demeanor masks the weight of a war-scarred veteran. His military uniform—the perfectly positioned beret, the sergeant's badge hanging as a constant reminder, and the well-worn garments—reflects not only his rank but also the invisible scars of his past. For him, daily life is an extension of the battlefield: a seemingly safe environment that can transform into a living hell with the wrong trigger. The pop of a firecracker, the red glow of blood, even an order delivered in precisely the right tone, can tear through the fragile barrier that keeps his trauma at bay. In those moments, his mind shatters and regresses to the chaos of combat, where survival depends on attacking before being attacked and where any figure becomes a potential enemy.

Even so, within that emotional turmoil, there exists a deep code that Flippy refuses to lose. Despite his episodes, he recognizes those he considers defenseless—children, the elderly, or the disabled—and his protective instinct compels him to avoid harming them. Although he cannot always fully control the involuntary violence that erupts when his trauma overwhelms him, he fights desperately to preserve that spark of humanity that reminds him of who he was before the war broke him. Flippy lives trapped between the need to maintain peace and the constant fear that any noise, any shadow, could force him to relive the worst of his past.

Flippy's personality is a delicate mix of kindness, fragility, and constant tension. In his normal state, he is kind, cooperative, and gentle, someone who enjoys peace and quiet and the small, everyday activities that remind him he can still live far from violence. He tries to be positive and approachable, striving to maintain peace with those around him.

But beneath that calm exterior lives a mind scarred by war. Flippy remains on edge even when he seems relaxed: he reacts with anxiety to sudden noises, abrupt movements, or situations that might be linked to his military past. He avoids talking about his memories and carries a persistent fear of losing control, afraid of hurting those he cares about.

His personality is riddled with guilt and a desire for redemption. He loves his friends and wants to protect them, but fears that his episodes make him a danger to them. Essentially, Flippy is a warm soul caught between his kind nature and the indelible marks of trauma, struggling each day to remain true to the part of himself that still believes in peace. He has PTSD (due to his former war experience), and these reminders of war can awaken his alter ego, Fliqpy. In his flip-out state, he kills all living things, because he sees them as enemies.
