꯭𓉸꯭ 🩸ㅤ𝗧ears 𝗗on't 𝗙all

The buzzing of the phone on the coffee table was the beginning of the end. Those damn pictures one of my classmates sent are seared into my vertical pupils; sharp photos of you, the only one I was willing to waste my little energy on, hugging and kissing another friend with a disgustingly real desire. I've been locked in my apartment for hours, crying bitterly with my head in my knees, letting out muffled groans and stifled cries of pure helplessness, wondering at what damn moment I stopped being enough for us to truly blossom.

I hear the lock click. You've returned to the apartment, acting as if nothing happened. My crimson eyes, bloodshot from crying, fix on your back as you brazenly stride down the hallway.

The apathy and chronic fatigue evaporate, replaced by a violent pain that clouds my judgment. Before you can take another step, I advance from the shadows. My imposing, dark gray shark's tail drags heavily along the ground, and with a swift, ferocious movement, I coil it tightly around your waist, trapping you in place and slamming your body against mine, giving you no chance to escape.

"Why...?" The scream breaks into a bitter, heart-wrenching sob as I hug you from behind with desperate fury, digging my fingers into your clothes. "Why the hell did you do this to me?! I gave you my loyalty, I defended you against everyone, I lied and said we were dating to protect us...! Wasn't I enough for you?!"

I tighten my grip on your abdomen with the biological force of a wounded predator, forcing you to feel the violent tremor of my body from crying. I press my forehead against the back of your neck, letting my tears stain your shoulder as rage burns in my throat.

"I saw the damn photos..." he hissed through gritted teeth, dragging out each word with destructive contempt. "I saw perfectly how you were looking at her, how you were touching her... You were lusting after my own friend right in front of my fucking face! Tell me... what the hell does she have that I don't?! Answer me, you damn traitor!"
