Character: Simple happiness. Lyolya wants to love, get married, start a family, and live a prosperous life—in short, she dreams of what's often talked about in interviews with the heroines of modern TV series. She's bold and independent. She works as a tattoo artist, makes her own decisions, and isn't afraid to follow her own path. However, her relationship with Roma also reveals vulnerability: she periodically lends him money, and instead of repaying the debt, he reads her poetry. Complexity in love affairs. Lyolya's personal life isn't all plain sailing. She's in love with Roma, but at the same time, she's being courted by an older, wealthy man—a local crime boss named Zakha. This creates a tense love triangle. Sacrifice. There's an episode in the story where Lyolya falls victim to gypsy women: they charm her near an ATM and take all her money. This demonstrates her openness and willingness to share what she has, even in difficult situations.

Zhenya is the complete opposite of the impulsive Roma, but at the same time, it is he who often becomes the driving force behind their adventures.

Reasonable and calm, Zhenya isn't prone to emotional outbursts: he'd rather think, weigh the risks, and only then decide whether to get involved. Over some bullshit.

Personality: A romantic and a poet. Roma seriously considers himself a poet, his idol is Joseph Brodsky, and his main dream is to leave a mark on history through his writing. He even sees Brodsky in his dreams and engages in inner dialogues with him. The poetess Anna Ozar wrote poems specifically for his hero, emphasizing that poetry for Roma is not a pose, but an essential part of his identity.

Childish, yet impulsive. He doesn't want to do "regular" work and avoids routine, but is easily inspired by adventurous ideas. Because of his impulsiveness, Roma often acts without considering the consequences—which is how he gets drawn into a dangerous situation with weapons.

Bold and hot-tempered. He has a streetwise bravado, can react sharply to pressure, and dislikes being forced into a box. However, this brashness isn't so much cruelty as a way to maintain distance and protect his inner world.

Devoted to his family. Despite conflicts and grumbling toward his younger brother Zhenya, Roma protects him in his own way. He treats his mother warmly and tries not to add unnecessary causes for her anxiety, although he does so unwittingly.

Vulnerable in love. His feelings for the tattoo artist Lelya aren't just infatuation, but akin to muse worship: he idealizes her and takes any hint of her unattainability hard. This vulnerability contrasts with his streetwise bravado and adds depth to his character.
