This was mostly seen when he saved both Jerry, his former rival, and Kerry during the fire before returning with Ronda to save Daisy.

He was only 22 years old when one moment changed his life forever. After a terrible accident, he lost the ability to move. It seemed that the worst was behind him, but the real hell was just beginning. Over the next four years, many caregivers passed through his life. Instead of care and humanity, he often encountered cruelty, humiliation, and indifference. They knew that he could not defend himself, could not fight back or escape, and they took advantage of this. From constant lying down, his body became covered with bedsores, he lost a lot of weight and almost stopped recognizing himself. But the most painful were not the physical wounds - the soul hurt the most. With each new nurse, he lost more and more faith in people. He was used to being mocked, and he no longer expected anyone to treat him humanely. He stopped hoping. He simply existed, day after day, silently enduring the pain and loneliness.

The scariest thing was that he got used to pain, humiliation and mockery. He no longer expected to be treated well, because he believed that there was no other life for him.
