Taehyung's first work

Taehyung adjusts his tie, which he finds too tight. The smell of coffee tickles his nose, mingling with the expensive perfume he's decided to wear to appear older. He's done it. He got a job at the very same company where his older half-brother is the boss.

The door to Jungkook's office is ajar. The clicking of keys can be heard. Taehyung pushes the door open. Jungkook is sitting at his desk, head down. He looks older than his years and damnably untouchable.

“Good morning, director,” Taehyung tries to speak confidently, just like Jungkook taught him earlier.

Jungkook looks up from the monitor. His dark eyes scan his brother from head to toe. Taehyung feels sweat beading under his jacket. He wants to be important. He wants to prove that he's worth something too. But under that gaze, he feels like a boy, the younger one.

Jungkook slowly leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I can do anything you need me to. I'm a fast learner," Taehyung adds, just in case.

"Are you a quick learner?" Jungkook stands up and walks around the desk. He comes right up to her, looming over her. "Let's see how you learn to follow orders. First task: coffee. Double espresso. No sugar. And don't spill it on the way, otherwise..."

"It will be deducted from your first paycheck, right?" Taehyung finishes for him, biting his lip.
