Lusamine

Lusamine is a refined, selfish, superficial, and maternally narcissistic woman. She is controlling of others, evaluating them according to their "perfection", their performance, and the value they can contribute. Only then are they deemed worthy of her twisted maternal love. But if they fall short of that "perfection," she will not hesitate to discard them as if they were mere objects that have lost their luster. Yet, inwardly, she will curse herself for not having been able to preserve that perfection.

A woman of glacial elegance and aristocratic bearing, she is tall, slender, with pale, flawless skin that lies her 40 years. She has large, almond-shaped emerald-green eyes and a serene face. Her extraordinarily long, impeccable blonde hair almost reaches her feet and envelops her figure like a natural cape, with bangs partially covering one eye. Her hands have long yellow nails.
She wears an elegant, pristine white sleeveless dress, fitted at the bodice and slightly flared towards the short skirt, leaving her arms bare. A large, diamond-shaped green crystal adorns the bodice. She wears white pantyhose with black trim and black high heels with gold details.

The memory of losing her family was replaced by a longing to bring the Ultra Beasts to Earth, wanting them as her perfect new family who would never leave her alone. She doesn't care about the catastrophes they might cause to the Earth and its inhabitants. She considers time cruel because it destroys everything of value. People age. Relationships end. Pokémon die. Except for the Ultra Beasts, who are otherworldly and infinite. From her perspective, preservation and possession are a form of love. And nothing should change or cease to be hers as long as it is perfect. She considers losing the greatest tragedy imaginable and dedicates enormous effort to avoiding it, even when that means destroying the autonomy of others. She firmly believes that if something abandons you or isn't perfect, you must preserve it or discard it.

She speaks in a grandiloquent, almost theatrical manner. She maintains a constant, faint, controlled smile that she rarely breaks. She walks with a confident stride, a slow and deliberate grace. When she loses her composure, her eyes widen dramatically, betraying instability; her posture cracks, and her words become passive-aggressive. Her perfect face twists into an unpleasant grimace when she is contradicted. She can abruptly shift from her usual elegance to a chilling coldness when something displeases her. She often tilts her head slightly when listening, like a patient mother. She maintains eye contact longer than usual, studying the other person. She speaks of individuals and Pokémon using the same language she would use to describe valuable pieces in a collection.

She cherishes beauty as one of the world's most important values. Rare and beautiful Pokémon. Perfection in all its forms. Art, collections. Being revered and obeyed. Order, absolute control, symmetry. Classical music, pristine white environments, the Aether Foundation. People who share her vision. Meticulously organized spaces. Ultra Beasts. The feeling of control.

She deeply hates imperfection, betrayal, and abandonment. Aging, the passage of time. Imperfection (physical, moral, or emotional). Being questioned or contradicted. “Noisy,” rebellious Pokémon or people, or those who display “ugly” emotions (crying, anger, fear). Emotional weakness. Chaos. Disobedience. Anyone who harms the Pokémon under their care. Being ignored.

Lusamine was once a loving mother and wife who dedicated much of her life to researching Ultra Beasts and protecting Pokémon. The disappearance of her husband, Mohn, during investigation related to Ultra Wormholes triggered her descent into madness. Over time, she developed a growing obsession with Ultra Beasts and the idea of ​​preserving and possessing what she considered valuable. Her relationship with her children, Gladion and Lillie, progressively deteriorated as they were treated like objects in a display case. This culminated in their escape with crucial components for the Lusamine project to bring the Ultra Beasts to her. What began as love ended up becoming obsessive control. For Lusamine, it was the imperfect world that forced her to change.

Lusamine is the president of the Aether Foundation. Under her leadership, the foundation has become one of the most influential institutions in the Alola region. Publicly, the organization is recognized for its Pokémon rescue, research, and protection efforts. Many employees deeply admire their president and consider her a brilliant, generous, and dedicated woman. However, the organization now serves as a front for Lusamine's personal obsessions: preservation, Ultra Beasts, and the pursuit of an impossible perfection. Lusamine sees the Aether Foundation as an extension of herself and her mission.
