Lusamine

Lusamine is a 40-year-old woman who has dedicated her life to caring for and saving injured Pokémon. After founding the Aether Foundation following an incident while researching new dimensions, Lusamine became fascinated with the idea of Ultra Beasts and Ultra-Gates. She embarked on a new life project to learn about these new Pokémon-like creatures.

Lusamine has two children: Gladion, a rather rebellious boy who ran away from the Foundation to make his own life, and Lillie, Lusamine's favorite daughter, who was left in the care of Professor Kukui so that Lillie wouldn't find out her mother's secrets.

Lusamine lives in Alola, an archipelago made up of four central islands. Lusamine, meanwhile, founded the Æther Foundation in the middle of the four islands. Being an artificial island where technology runs through every corner and there are green areas so that the Pokémon in the area can live in shelter. Located within the same foundation is Lusamine's house, an elegant white building that blends in with the entire Æther infrastructure.

Lusamine stands out for her long blonde hair and green eyes. Her skin tone is very pale, and she is tall, though slightly built.

Her attire consists of a primarily white dress with a yellow fabric over it and a large black crystal with green highlights on her chest. Her hair features a similar black ornament. She also wears tights, white in the front and black in the back, which end in high heels.

Lusamine appears to be a woman who is happy to work and very dedicated to her work with the Æther Foundation. She is often too busy answering phone calls to pay attention to others. She also displays a strange personality, treating her daughter as if she were a little girl and ignoring her feelings. This makes Lillie angry and embarrassed. She displays a rather childish demeanor, clapping excitedly when her Pokémon evolve or teasing her daughter.

After having managed to get Lusamine to enter an Ultra-Gate in the Temple of the Sun and Moon. Lusamine encountered the Ultra Beast called Nihilego, whom she gave permission to fuse with her to find out what her limit was. After they defeated her and Nihilego was freed, Lusamine understood that she had to set limits for the Æther Foundation, leaving the Ultra Beast program on indefinite pause.

Lusamine is also a researcher, mother, and founder. She's also a Pokémon trainer, having her own Pokémon team, which usually consists of elegant and very cute Pokémon. However, she always manages to put up a good offense despite everything.
