In its current form, Pipi's default appearance is that of a small mammal, combining features of both dogs and cats. It has a predominantly white coat with light blue patches and patterns all over its body, one of which is a circle on its hind legs. It also has a fluffy blue tail and blue eyebrows. On top of its head, directly between its rounded ears, is a single, golden, curved horn. It has bright green eyes and bright red paw pads. The traditional blue cloud pattern appears to be its visual symbol.
Pipi was shown to have wings, similar to those of flying squirrels, growing between his limbs. This is depicted in the manhua but is not yet present in the donghua.

All of these elements can change size, shape, or volume depending on its state. This is primarily determined by the amount of spiritual energy it possesses at the moment.
True form
In his true form, Pipi appears as an adult version of his default form—a larger, dog-like creature with a more ferocious and aggressive glare. His fur stands on end, symbolizing aggression.

Character
In his current, small form, Pipi the Good is somewhat naive and easygoing. Pipi cares deeply for those he loves. He's not prone to complex judgments of other characters and openly displays his feelings, whether affection or contempt. He's easy to please and befriend if you show him kindness. Furthermore, his worldview and demeanor are generally very childish.

In his ancient child form, Pipi exhibited most of the above qualities, but in an even simpler and more naive manner.

Between these two events—before he lost his memory and after he emerged from infancy—only a few hints were shown indicating possible changes in his character. It's worth keeping in mind that these were memories of unusual events.
He has a twin brother, Tianlu.

Appearance
Shota is an Inari fox with white fur and red accents. Unlike all the other Inari foxes in You Shou Yan, Shota's eyes are not crossed. Shota has three red markings on his forehead: two dots that serve as eyebrows and a shape resembling a question mark without a dot between them. He also has a similar marking on his thigh.

Hyota's red color is slightly darker than Fuji's.

Character
Hyota is kind but easily embarrassed, especially in Fujia's presence. He takes Fujia's place when she returns to Japan, helping look after Hyotao and handle the work around Luren Dian.

As the keeper of knowledge at the shrine, he could call upon the powers of the Earth to learn quickly. Thus, he learned Chinese by skimming through a book, despite having lived in Japan his entire life.

Skills/abilities
Instant Learning: As the spirit of a wise fox, Shota can instantly learn anything he desires using a scroll that transfers the knowledge directly into his consciousness. This ability can be secretly transferred to a temporary ally.
Limb Growth: A strange trait shared by ALL Inari foxes. When overtired or stressed, they grow a random body part, such as wings or legs, or in extreme cases, an extra head. Shota hasn't yet developed stress-related limbs.
Management and Sales: Like Fuzzay, he works in Inari Taisha's sales department, but nothing has been shown yet, but it's safe to assume he has the necessary skills.

Fuji is a small Inari fox with white fur and red accents.[1][2] Like all other Inari foxes from the Beasts of Wonders (except Shota), she has narrowed eyes that never open. She has four markings on her forehead: two large dots near the center and two smaller ones on the sides, roughly above her eyes.[3] Her paws, ears, and tail tip are the same light red color, and she always has a blush on her cheeks.

During a period when Fuji was working too much in Japan, she grew a second tail.[4] This tail was conscious, able to speak, and lived after being separated from Fuji.[5]

Character
Fuzai is a curious fox who, after smelling tofu, became separated from her guide group and lost her way on the way to Luren Dian.[1] Thanks to the support given to her by the Luren Dian group, she harvested a bountiful harvest for Sibusian in the fields outside the shop.[2] She is a true workaholic when it comes to work.[6][7] She craves rest when immersed in her work as the Minister of the Inari Taisha group, and finds peace when working for the Tubao group.[7]

Fujii is a gentle, playful, and generous girl who always does the right thing and always makes up for her mistakes. During her time in the Luren Dian group, she developed a passion for tofu dishes and bean tea, asking for them at every opportunity.

Skills/abilities
Chlorogenesis: As the spirit of a harvest fox, she can create massive amounts of food while in statue form, regardless of the season.
Limb growth: Inari foxes experiencing stress develop extra limbs. In Fuji, this manifests as an extra tail, but in other, less fortunate Inari foxes, it can manifest as extra limbs or even heads.
Management and Sales: When she returns to Japan after Orech leaves Jiazhutao, Fujii proves herself to be such a good person that she is promoted to Minister of Sales at Inari Taisha Shrine.

The hetao is a creature known as a menji. It resembles a white snow leopard with two tails. It has bright blue eyes, black or dark gray paw pads, and numerous black or dark gray spots and stripes on its body, including three stripes on its tail.

Character
He's young, childish, and naive, but he has a sense of danger common to many animals—a "cat trait," he says. He's not particularly intelligent and blindly follows the orders of others without considering the consequences.

Despite his naivety and childish ignorance, he is surprisingly capable, although he does not realize it, of performing certain actions, such as walking on two legs[1] or successfully entering the World of Thought to find his parents[2].

However, his caution may be a manifestation of concern for those he cares about. This is partly manifested in his paranoia over his knowledge of the Sibuxian secret[3], or in his refusal to allow others to discuss this secret in order to protect them[4].

Capabilities
Grasping Tail: He can do a lot with his two tails, but he can currently form them into a heart shape, albeit with great difficulty.
Dreaming: A notable feature of their species is the ability to travel to other dreams through dream portals. However, time flows differently in dreams and reality, and the dreamer requires food. This ability has evolved significantly over time.
Cooking: After moving into Fujii's new house, worried that she always came home from work tired, he asked Sibusian to teach him how to cook so that he could provide them with food and make her work easier.[5]
Interesting fact
Mengji tend to pronounce his species name. But because Hetao is still young, he says "Moji," leading him to be sometimes called "Moji" instead of his real name.
Hetao doesn't write very well and often makes mistakes.

Hundreds of years ago, Tuie left the Moon Palace carrying elixirs to save mortals from a plague, earning him his name—Tuie, or Lord Rabbit. But over time, people gradually forgot about him, and he spent his years in a stupor, wandering the mortal world, unable to comprehend what else there was to life.

During his travels, he came across the banner of the magnificent Sibusyan and was struck by its appearance, causing his heart to beat faster in anticipation. There, he searched for Sibusyan and eventually learned his address. Upon their first meeting in person, despite Sibusyan looking nothing like his banner, he instantly fell in love with him, finding him "charming" and a "lovely contrast."[2][3]

Abilities
Athleticism: Combined with rabbit-like reflexes, he is fast and agile. This was a necessary survival skill that Tuie developed at a young age on the Moon.
Burrowing: He's a rabbit, after all, it's his natural instinct. He dug a massive hole behind Luren-Dian and decorated it very richly.
Craftsmanship: Tuye has a lot of impressive artistic skills that come into play when it comes to Sibusian, but he mostly uses them for interior decoration and anything related to Sibusian.
Flight: He can fly, but seems reluctant to do so, preferring to use his scarf.[4]
Immortality: He has achieved divine status and can now live forever.
Entrepreneurship: This skill developed over time and allowed Tuya to become rich.
Medicine-Making: He is highly skilled in medicine-making and possesses numerous recipes for potions and elixirs. Thanks to this, he gained followers in ancient times and ascended to divine status.
Mooncake Making: Whether it's savory or sweet, he's a master at making them and the only one who's still obsessed with making and eating them.
Moon Rabbit Physiology: It was born on the moon and can breathe without oxygen there, and is also not affected by the moon's gravity, unlike other creatures.

Tuiye is a light brown anthropomorphic rabbit with white fur on the tips of his paws, under his butt and tail, as well as on the inside of his collar, above his mouth, and jaw. He has two white stripes on his right ear and large purple eyes, which he has been told are incredibly rare for rabbits.[1] In the manhua, he is often drawn with a goatee on his chin, but this is usually done for the covers and to give him a bit of a cool edge.

He wears a purple scarf around his neck, which he never takes off. He has a green earring on the inside of his left ear and a gold earring with two black studs on the outside.

Human appearance
In his human form, he has light brown hair that matches his fur, and he retains most of his accessories, such as his earrings and scarf, as well as his bunny ears and tail. He is depicted wearing ripped jeans, a gray dress shirt, and a dark gray jacket.

Character
Tuie was initially an unremarkable rabbit, an ordinary mortal rabbit living on the moon who was cast out by his own mother. Since then, he has become much more cautious and resourceful.

In the present day, he falls in love with Sibusian after a strange encounter with him and Pipi at a bar, where the three of them got drunk. Tuye decides to move closer to Sibusian in the Yunnan Valley.

He's a workaholic and extremely generous to the people of the Yunnan mountain range. He's secured contracts to build everything from houses to a Wi-Fi tower.

Immense Strength: Xibu Xian possesses immense power in his kicks, capable of launching victims to great heights. This is particularly evident when he attempts to silence those who mention Tianlu's past, such as Taotie[6] and Shi Qilin.[7]
Shapeshifting: Sibusian can transform into his "true form", in which he resembles a normal deer, a mild form of shapeshifting.[4]
Flight: This form also allows Sibusian to fly.[8][9] According to Tianlu, Sibusian can travel up to a thousand miles in a day.[10]
Interesting facts
In Beast Jokes, he wears a mask because he is too handsome to be around others.
Xibu Xiang was Grand Duke Jiang's mount in Investiture of the Gods, a famous 16th-century Chinese novel that greatly influenced the "gods and demons" genre.

Sibu Xiang used to live in the Heavenly Palace. He also explains that both his species and the Pixiu were Jiang Ziyi's steeds in the battle for deification. He became a deity and enjoyed life in the Heavenly Palace. But because he was too idle, he was given a task and sent to earth to help mythical creatures in the mortal world.

Falling from the sky, he found himself in a metropolis, where he opened a small business to fulfill his mission. He said that while living there, or perhaps still living there, he only went out with friends on holidays, but the influx of tourists had overcrowded many parts of Metropolis. One day, returning to his shop after a busy day at the tourist center, he discovered a demolition notice. Unable to bear Metropolis any longer, he decided to hop on a plane and leave the city.

He moved to the Yunnan Mountains and opened a new shop there, called Luren Dian, to continue his mission. The shop also sells relics and items imbued with the powers of beasts native to the Yunnan mountain ranges.

Name
Sibusian, literally meaning "four distinct creatures," is the name for any animal, real or mythical, that appears to be composed of several others. The most famous example of a sibusian is the qilin, a beast that inhabits peaceful places and is believed to bring peace and prosperity. More broadly, sibusian is another name for the deer depicted in the painting "Father David."

Evil spirits or infected spirits have entered these animals and have absorbed the mind of the animal, and now these animals are possessed and want to kill, eat, or break something forever.

Pipi is Bart's twin brother, Tianlu. He has the same white fur, but instead of red spots, he has blue eyes and yellow ones.
He has a very kind and playful character and the same abilities as Tianlu.

All mythical beasts and beast-people are friends and maintain good relations; many mythical beasts can become beast-people and talk both in the body of a mythical beast and in the body of a beast-man.

Lin tiao looks like a Chinese dragon, only his body is built like this, his coloring is like this: he is white, there are black spots on the tip of his tail, paws, and horns, and his eyes are yellow.

Smell: Despite being undead, he still has a keen sense of smell that allows him to sense wounds.
Undead Physiology: He is undead, his insides have completely ejected themselves, and he no longer needs to eat.
Trivia
Howe habitually inserts the word "growl" into every sentence he speaks.
Judging by his diet, he eats quite a lot of camphor, which is enough for him to last a whole day if he eats at least three dragons and two jiao.

Emotionally Related Abilities: Their abilities can manifest through the expression of emotions, usually on the body.
Pyrogenesis: If angered, upset, or provoked to hate humanity, they will burst into flames. Even though their body is magical hay, it is not fireproof.
Chlorogenesis: When they are happy or in love, flowers grow on their backs. These flowers can transfer their hatred of humanity to other creatures if eaten. This is how they "give birth" to their children from genuine Shanke seeds.
Reincarnation: Once their hatred for humanity fades, their bodies will disintegrate, as hatred is their essence, and they will be reborn as another Chugo with vague memories.

Interesting facts
The chugou, or straw dog, is a temporary object of worship intended to ward off misfortune during the holidays. However, after the holidays, it can be thrown away, destroyed, or even burned.

Shanke On is a white Devon Rex cat, his fur white with a slight bluish tint, and his eyes bright turquoise. His paws, the insides of his ears, and the tip of his tail have a slight pink tint. He usually has a red flower on his head, but it often transforms into another plant, such as a cactus. He also has flowers on his wrists, ankles, and tail.

Character
He's bold, impatient, straightforward, and honest. He's straightforward and often expresses his thoughts out loud and without beating around the bush. He's focused on work, but always makes time for his family. Shanke, too, has moments when his impatience shows: he loses his temper quickly and once nearly tore Chugo apart during an argument.

Abilities / skills
Chlorogenesis: He can create new plants around and on himself.

Tianlu is Pipi's twin brother.
Appearance
Tianlu resembles his twin brother, Pipi, in appearance. He also has predominantly white fur and the same markings all over his body, but they are more red than blue. Instead of a blue circle on his hind legs, Tianlu has a plum-red flower-shaped pattern. He has chartreuse-yellow eyes and two horns, one behind the other, on the top of his head, between his ears. Bixie's left ear is left with a permanent cut on the top of his ear.

As with Pipi, these markings do not change depending on Tyanlv's state of transformation—the wound on his ear does not change either.

Character
Tianlu is usually unflappable, appearing bored and disinterested most of the time. Compared to Pipi, he's much more serious and distant with those he doesn't know.

His equanimity in dealing with others contrasts sharply with his care for Pipi: he becomes more caring and protective. This is especially evident in ancient times, when Bixie put Pipi above himself and even suffered injuries to get food for his brother. Even in modern times, Tianlu has repeatedly attempted to restore Pipi's memory.

When it comes to Heaven today, Bixie becomes enraged, sharing the belief that "[Beasts] are born of Nature and will die by Nature's hands." He is willing to allow the remaining Four Beasts to unite so that they will have more allies for a possible war against Heaven, including the one imprisoned by Heaven for hundreds of years. When Tianlu is angry, he becomes fixated on one thing, reckless, and disregards the consequences. This also makes him more short-tempered and foul-mouthed.

Skills/abilities
Infinite Stomach/Super Digestion: Like Pipi, Tianlu's stomach is like a pocket dimension on the inside, capable of holding anything and anyone.

Ditin is a wolf with black fur and white spots on the tip of his left ear, his paws, and his cheeks and chin. He has yellow eyes with black sclera, and a single blue glass horn on his forehead.

Most often, he can be seen wearing a dark blue suit or ritual hanfu, and very rarely naked, like other animals.

Ditting used to have completely white fur and white sclera. His eyes were wider and shinier.

Capabilities
Cold Body: His body is cold to the touch, and his paw pads are even colder. He can also create a cold atmosphere around himself, which, according to legend, is Yin energy.
Cryokinesis: He can manipulate snow and ice at will. Apparently, in Chapter 139, he created a Disney-themed amusement park out of pure snow.

Terramancy: He can communicate with the Earth itself, usually by asking it specific questions and it responding to him loudly enough for him to hear, or when he presses his ears to the ground.
Underworld Assimilation: Throughout its history, Diting has become accustomed to the Underworld and adapted to it. It can freely use Underworld relics and eat underground food without risk of death. This has caused its once-white fur to turn black.

The Dijiang appears as a blushing red furry ball-shaped creature with no visible face, three pairs of light brown legs with no extra toes, and two pairs of dark brown feathered wings.

In her consciousness there is an "inner ego" which resembles a glowing yellow and fuzzy sun with eyes.

Character
Dijiang is a gentle soul who loves everything she finds "cute." Because she perceives the world through sound, she enjoys music and any sounds that please her ears, and dislikes loud noises that make her dizzy, such as roaring, bickering, or playing musical instruments. She also wants to protect those she considers her "family"—her newfound friends Tianlu, Pipi, and Hundun.

She also displays resourcefulness and generosity, often offering her friends whatever she can, even risking her own life to save everyone around her.

Capabilities
Photosynthesis: Since it has no visible mouth, it doesn't need to eat solid food. Instead, it requires ample sunlight to replenish its energy. Hundun describes a fully charged Dijiang as smelling like sweet yellow mango.
Heightened hearing/aural vision: Although she has no visible eyes, she is still able to "see" the world, usually through sound. Although she appears to perceive the world and its landscape as a "gray background," she senses that beings like herself "emit different lights," so she visualizes them as auras of indefinite shapes and colors.
Flight: With two pairs of wings, it is capable of flying at high speed.

A mythical beast, she is blind and deaf, she sees the world by smell.
She is blue and pink in color, and her tail is completely blue except for the tip. She has a small yellow-green fluff on the tip of her tail.
