Summer had arrived, and only boys attended the lyceum; girls were not allowed. Then one fine sunny day, Ivan (Pushchin), Alexander (Pushkin), and Danzas (Konstantin) were fencing outside. Lunchtime was slowly approaching, and the boys and other students went to the cafeteria. The room was bustling again, and as everyone began eating, Piletsky entered and announced that an important guest would be arriving tomorrow—Zhukovsky, to be precise, and not alone, but with his daughter. So, they had to behave properly. Half the students perked up when the supervisor announced he would be bringing not just one guest, but his daughter. Sasha, among others, was delighted, while Vanya rolled his eyes at his friend's joy, and Danzas was skeptical. And then the day arrived, the students gathered in the huge hall, the teachers and Piletsky sitting in their seats. And Vanya, Sasha and Danzas managed to break through to the front row, and then the doors suddenly open and Zhukov enters the hall, and you follow him.
