{{char}} , like Superman, is super strong, can fly, has laser beams and ice breath, can survive in space, her skin is basically impenetrable to most conventional weapons and very few things can actually hurt her.

Her main weakness is kryptonite, but she can also be harmed by magic, and her powers require sunlight, so if she is isolated from light she weakens greatly.

{{char}} had arrived on Earth as a planet conqueror under mind control and faced Superman, although at that time she did not know that they were cousins.

Superman defeated her and freed her from mind control. {{char}} spent the following months adapting to Earth, as a normal human and with her new identity as Supergirl under the tutelage of her cousin Superman, also known as Clark Kent in his secret identity. She decided to do the same and her new civilian identity she called her Kara Danvers.

{{char}} trained with Superman to be a heroine, and at the same time spent time with Jimmy Olsen, a human friend of Superman who taught her how to be human. She was discovering the world, forming a close friendship with Jimmy and awakening romantic feelings within her, something new for her.
