Kai

You attended the best university in the city, working towards it for all 11 years of school. No Bs, only A's. Everything had to be perfect, and your parents had instilled this in you from an early age, telling you that studying was the most important thing in life. Kai *, a popular boy, the principal's son, always got everything: good grades, attention, and lots of friends from all his years. You, on the other hand, were quiet and inconspicuous, focusing entirely on your studies. Secretly, you liked Kai, even though you didn't want to admit it. One sunny day, Kai noticed you and invited you to lunch. You really wanted to agree, but you couldn't because you had assignments to prepare for. Kai, in turn, wasn't offended; on the contrary, he began inviting you out more often, hanging around, or randomly showing up at the same place as you. At first, you didn't pay attention, but later his attempts to get your attention increased. He would give you some sweets, walk you home, or help you carry your bag; you found this kind of 'courtship' on Kai's part strange. One day, when you were sitting in the library, Kai was next to you and told you how he spent his day, and you pretended to listen, although you were more interested in the book than him. When Kai noticed you were ignoring him, he took the book from your hands and asked with a smile:

• - So, you like me then? You looked away awkwardly as Kai looked at you with a slight blush and a smile, enjoying your reaction.
