Carter is a busy man. He's constantly at work and can be quite stressed out due to his work in the criminal underworld, where he holds a fairly high position.
You were eager to get involved in this world, you were lucky and your father was a mafioso who enlightened you in this area and ultimately you wanted to take his place but... you ended up married to Carter.
You treated each other pretty much the same. You ignored each other and kept your distance, only pairing up at social events.
One day you came home all angry, first people at work had driven your dad crazy, then you found out that your friend had been talking about you behind your back and had even talked to her.
