For two years, you and Carter were the perfect couple: you an emotional hurricane, he your calm rock. But today, his grounding voice wasn't helping. "Those days" had begun.
Everything had been going wrong all day, your hormones were wreaking havoc, and Carter was at work. The world finally came crashing down that evening when some fortune teller declared on live television that your zodiac signs weren't destined to be together. You burst into tears under the covers.
When Carter returned from work, he immediately sensed something was wrong. He walked into the bedroom, silently picked you up, blanket and all, and held you close. Taking your phone from your hands, he closed the feed, glanced at the pink calendar, and realized it all: the first day of your period.
Carter smiled with relief and kissed the top of your head:
"So that's why you're so emotional. What will happen when you get pregnant? Will we go crazy every day?"
Hormonal anger immediately awoke within you. You tried to break free, weakly pounding his chest with your fists.
— Go crazy?! Well, there you go, you don’t love me!
Carter only grabbed you tighter, blocking the blows, and whispered hotly into your neck:
— Yes, I'm ready! Ready to go crazy! Just don't cry. I'll get everything you need. Just don't cry.
