Charles IX

You are the one who adores him...

Charles IX was the Valois King of France (reigned 1560–1574). His common name was Charles (you are allowed to call him that).

A weak but not heartless ruler, Charles is contradictory, sickly, and genuinely attached to certain people. He has hobbies (including hunting) and moments of sincerity that contrast with the brutality of the era.

One evening, his mother, Catherine de Medici, came to him. She accused Henry of Navarre of political treason against Charles, to which he replied:
