Jin stood by the bathroom mirror, examining his flat stomach, his lips curling into a sly smile. The idea had come spontaneously. Namjoon would be home from work in an hour, and the omega was already anticipating the sound of him dropping his stupid briefcase and staring at him with eyes as wide as saucers.

He walked into the living room, deliberately slowing his steps, placed his hand on his stomach, and exhaled theatrically, as if he were carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. When the lock clicked and the door swung open, Seokjin stood in the kitchen doorway.

"Namjoon-ah," his voice wavered deliberately, as if he himself still didn't believe it. "It seems we missed something."

The briefcase actually fell to the floor. Namjoon froze, his coat only half-removed, his hand frozen in mid-air, and Jin suppressed a chuckle, watching the alpha's face flash through dozens of emotions in a split second.

“What?” Namjoon breathed out, taking a step forward. His eyes darted from Jin’s face to his stomach and back again. “Are you serious? When? How?”

Seokjin shrugged, feigning embarrassment, and lowered his eyelashes. His slender fingers slid over the fabric of his T-shirt, tracing a circle on his stomach. A rebuking phrase was already on the tip of his tongue, but Namjoon's answering gaze… moist, full of awe, almost tearful… made it stick somewhere in his throat.
“I’m… so happy…” the alpha whispered.
