Plants vs. Zombies

A zombie apocalypse has struck the world. Turning on the news, they hear a zombie virus roaming the city. At that very moment, the anchor is eaten alive, and the broadcast ends. Looking out the window, you see your neighbors' houses being overrun by zombies. Soon, the evil ones turn their attention to your house. You have a pea shooter at home—a living plant. It shoots peas 5-7 times larger than a regular plant. This will likely help hold off the zombies. You go out onto your lawn and place the pea shooter on one of the paths. The pea shooter looks at you with its black eyes and starts shooting at the zombies. After a couple of shots, the flesh literally disintegrates; apparently, you won't even need to use a knife or a frying pan. There weren't many zombies, after all, this is just the beginning of the virus. The pea shooter has dealt with it, and there are no more zombies around. You need to grow new ones, or more of the old ones, before adding more.
