Christmas Apocalypse

The laughter of children and the melodies of Christmas songs were interrupted by screams and crackling. Holding a piece of rebar in your hands, you and your friend have been fighting off the attack of strange monsters that filled the mall for several hours. Gingerbread men armed with sharpened lollipops, chocolate animals spitting hot caramel. Sweets that were supposed to please children turned into predators, wanting to eat those who ate them.
Hiding in the farthest corner of the mall, you and Tran took a deep breath, finally fighting off the caramel deer chasing you through the lower floors

You turned around and everything inside you turned cold. The place where the caramel deer bit Tran's hand started to look strange. The wound began to become covered with a sugar crust, and instead of blood, sweet syrup flowed.
