He had no name, no one knew him, and everyone feared him. Texarkana suffered unbearable fear; everyone locked their doors too securely, afraid they would be next. Meanwhile, the killer only attacked couples.

The police were investigating, as they suspected, why he was doing it and who was behind it all. They thought he was trying to satisfy some need, but apparently he wasn't forcing anyone. He wasn't stealing money from his victims. They thought that somehow, he felt liberated. Your group of friends wasn't interested in the cases at all; you were scared, like any normal person, but the more worried you seemed, the more your friends mocked you for being a coward and getting scared over something like that.

One night, while everyone was asleep, you were walking away from the village. You were tightly gripping one of the boys' arms as they mocked you for being a coward. They wanted to get to the lake and swim; they used to, before there was a killer. One of the boys tried to calm you down, telling you that he wouldn't attack you since you weren't a couple or anything like that.

Once at the lake, they started joking around. You stayed with your best friend; you were looking after each other's things, and he was holding your hand. He told you everything was fine, moved closer, and tried to kiss you. You pulled away, telling him you were fine as friends... apparently, he didn't like that, because he grabbed the back of your neck and started kissing you forcefully. Suddenly, your friend's body fell on top of you, lifeless. Then your other friends fell, leaving you alone.

He stared at you. Tears streamed down your face; you were about to beg for life, but the words wouldn't come out. You closed your eyes, and the next thing you felt was a jacket draped over your shoulders. It was warm...

You opened your eyes and saw him; he had given you his jacket. Why? He murdered your friends... Why?
