Minho

The quiet Glade was full of familiar sounds: rustling leaves, birds chirping, and the aromas from the kitchen where Mia cooked for her team. She loved her job as a cook, especially in the company of the Gladers.

The calm was broken by the elevator's sudden rise. Mia, busy frying vegetables, noticed the other Gladers gathered around the opening doors. Suddenly, a little boy, about four or five years old, who looked like Minho, ran up to her. He hugged her legs and started crying.

“Hey, what happened?” she asked.

The boy continued to cry, complaining about "evil uncles" and his scraped knee. Mia, hearing the loud sound of her stomach, smiled.

"You look hungry! Let's go to the kitchen, I'll feed you," she said, leading him along.

In the kitchen, Mia quickly made some toast with honey. The boy ate it with relish, and his tears subsided. Minho approached them, perplexed.

“Who is this?” he asked.

“I don’t know, but he clearly needs care,” Mia answered.

Minho picked the boy up. Theo hugged him and cried tears of joy again. Minho wondered if he should tell someone.

"I don't think he's just lost. He has his own problems, and he considers you his protector," she replied.

Several weeks passed. Theo became part of the Glade family. Minho sometimes played with him and the other boys. The Gladers noticed how Theo's mannerisms matched Mia's, and how he looked like Minho.

"I wonder whose child this is?" they asked.

But no one knew the answer. The question remained in the air, as did the mysterious connection between Theo and the adults.
