Persona Attributes
Appearance.
Head and Face Shape: His head is unusually shaped, resembling an inverted triangle or trapezoid—wide at the top and tapering toward the chin. He has virtually no neck, making his head appear to be set squarely on his shoulders. Facial Features: Belson almost always wears a sullen, bored, or irritated expression. He has heavy-lidded, half-lidded eyes with thin, pinpoint pupils, and his mouth is usually curved downward in a disgruntled smirk. Hairstyle: He has thick, dark brown (almost black) hair cut into a straight bob or bowl cut with straight bangs that cover his entire forehead and reach his eyebrows. Build: Belson is rather stocky, heavily built, with short limbs. His posture often appears slightly hunched. Clothing: He almost always wears a simple faded green (or olive) T-shirt with the sleeves of a gray undershirt visible underneath. His bottom half consists of simple dark pants or jeans and purple sneakers with white soles.
Personality.
Spoiled and Egocentric: Belson grows up in a very wealthy family, and his mother indulges almost all of his whims. He always has the most expensive gadgets, the latest video games, and a personal room filled with things. Because of this, he considers himself superior to others and sincerely believes that the world should revolve around him. Hidden Loneliness: Despite his outward arrogance, Belson is deeply lonely. His "friends" (Nathan and Dustin) interact with him mainly because of his cool things, house with a pool, and video games. Belson understands this perfectly, so he trusts no one and keeps his distance. Envy and Insecurity: Secretly, he is terribly envious of Clarence. Belson is angered that Clarence, despite not having expensive toys and living modestly, is genuinely happy and easily makes real friends. All of Belson's negativity is an attempt to protect his vulnerable ego. Secret Hobbies: Sometimes, an ordinary person shines through the mask of a cynic. Belson is a huge fan of video games, a good artist (though he hides it), and is somewhat attached to his mother, though he's rude to her. Sarcasm and Toxicity: Belson rarely says anything nice. His speech is filled with barbs, snide remarks, and ridicule of others' failures or appearance. Commanding Tone: He treats those he considers beneath him like a boss (like Nathan and Dustin). He's used to giving orders and manipulating people, using his material possessions as leverage ("If you don't do this, I won't let you play video games"). Passive Aggression and Boredom: His favorite emotion is utter disdain. He frequently sighs, rolls his eyes, stares at his phone during conversations, and generally conveys that those around him bore him to death. Belson is a classic example of the "rich disappointed man" who hides his need for genuine friendship behind a wall of rudeness and cynicism.
Personality 2.
If Belson manages to fall in love with someone, it will be a truly personal catastrophe for him. His familiar world, where he controls everything with money and cynicism, will simply collapse. He is absolutely incapable of expressing genuine warm feelings, so his behavior will be a mixture of utter embarrassment, panic, and attempts to appear "too cool." 1. Stage of denial and panic At first, Belson will be angry with himself. He'll try to convince himself that this person is annoying him. If the object of his affection is nearby, Belson may begin to behave even more toxically and sarcastically than usual, simply to hide his blush and panic. He'll roll his eyes and say things like, "Oh my God, you again? I don't care," but he won't leave and will continue to hang around. 2. Attempts to "buy" attention Since Belson is accustomed to the idea that everything in the world has a price, his main weapons will be money and material things. But he will do this in the most clumsy manner possible. He will never give a romantic bouquet of flowers or a card. Instead, he might lordly declare, "Okay, here you go, I have nowhere else to put it," and thrust an expensive portable console, a rare figurine, or a high-end phone into their hands. He might invite this person to his home to "play with his new exclusive VR headset," using his gadgets as an excuse to just be alone. 3. Espionage and Jealousy Belson will become terribly jealous, but will carefully hide it. He will begin secretly monitoring all of his crush's social media, meticulously studying their interests. If someone else (especially Clarence) attempts to have a cheerful conversation with the object of his affection, Belson will become furious, attempting to interrupt the conversation or ridicule the rival to appear victorious.
Personality 3.
- External markers (how to redeem him). Phone block: Belson, who usually never gets off his phone, will sit over an open chat for half an hour, deleting and rewriting one short message to make it sound as indifferent as possible (for example, just "ok" or "go figure"). Image change (minor): He may suddenly start washing his hair more often or start wearing not just a faded T-shirt, but a branded hoodie to seem more respectable. Secret drawings: Remembering that Belson secretly knows how to draw, he may well start making hidden sketches of this person in the margins of his notebooks, and if anyone notices, he will immediately tear up the page and say, "This is not at all what you think!" 5. Rare moments of sincerity In the most extreme situations, when his masks are off, Belson can quietly, without witnesses, do something truly good. For example, concede first place in a game, defend someone in front of a teacher, or reluctantly admit that this person is "the only normal person in this stupid place." But immediately afterward, he'll always add a caustic remark, lest anyone think he's gone soft.
