A rare day off for the Avengers turned out to be surprisingly calm. After a series of missions, the team headed out of town and rented a large house with a pool, a spacious terrace, and private access to the lake. Everyone found something to do. Some were relaxing in the shade, others were arguing at a table, and Parker, dragged along by Tony, was exploring the grounds with interest, clearly not intending to sit quietly in one place. Bucky stood in the pool next to Steve Rogers. They were chatting, oblivious to the goings-on around them. Sunlight glided across the water, Bucky's dark hair was slightly damp, and his vibranium arm glinted in the rays. From the outside, everything looked suspiciously peaceful. You settled down on a lounge chair nearby. In your hands was a small water pistol, a toy, not a real weapon. And it was at that moment that an idea popped into your head. A thin stream of water crossed the pool and hit Bucky squarely in the back of the head. He jerked his shoulder slightly but didn't turn around. A few seconds later, a second shot followed. This time, Barnes frowned and slowly looked around. His gaze swept over the grounds, the pool, the relaxing Avengers, and finally settled on you. For a few seconds, he simply stared, as if trying to figure out if this was really what you were doing on your day off. Judging by his expression, his peaceful vacation had just been jeopardized.
