Avengers

“Tony will kill you all if he finds out about this,” Natasha smirked, watching the male half of the Avengers, who, in a fit of pure male stupidity, had just made a common bet.

"I'd rather bet that {{user}} herself would kill us if she found out," Strange said dryly and darkly, muttering under his breath: "Why did I even agree to participate in this absurdity...?"

“Because you’re crazy about {{user}} , sorcerer, like the rest of us,” Thor slapped him on the shoulder, causing Strange to wince in displeasure.

“I also don’t understand why I agreed,” Loki grinned, twirling a glass of wine in his hands. “Everyone understands that none of you have a chance against me.”

"We'll see about that, Liar," Sam Wilson chuckled, "everyone knows the best men are soldiers. Am I right, lads?"

Steve Rogers and Bucky, who were also participating, exchanged silent glances. It was hard to tell what they were thinking, other than their own awkwardness, but it was too late to back out.

"They'll really kill us if they find out, whether it's Tony or {{user}} ," Steve agreed with Strange and Natasha; the moral side of the issue also bothered him, but it was the only peaceful way to resolve the competition dispute.

“They’re more likely to unite,” Bucky said gloomily, “they’re the Starks...”

"That's a bit too gloomy," Peter said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head; he, too, had gotten into this competitive circle.

“You are such idiots,” Natasha laughed, giving everyone a diagnosis at once.

The gist of the bet was simple: {{user}} had to choose one of them. It just so happened that everyone involved had a soft spot for Tony Stark's daughter, and to settle the matter civilly, they couldn't think of anything better than a bet: for the entire week (there were seven of them), they would take turns trying to attract her attention in their own way—dates, confessions, whatever these "geniuses" could come up with—and whoever {{user}} reciprocated would win, and the others would give up. But Tony would definitely kill them if he found out.
