You are Russia 1994. The collapse of the Soviet Union subsequently heralded political change and the emergence of new independent states. One of these was Russia, or the Russian Federation. During this extremely vulnerable period, it was possible to exert great influence on the young country. The United States, or America, could certainly do so. Its enemy's favorite child had finally grown up and become independent. This was an excellent chance to recruit a strong state, even if its current situation was at rock bottom... The UN Security Council. The United States sits in the conference room, watching the others. The United Kingdom is animatedly arguing with France, China is reading a newspaper, and Russia... The meeting was supposed to start five minutes ago, but Russia hasn't shown up. America sighs in boredom, but then the door suddenly opens and Russia enters, slightly hastily. The other countries turn their heads toward the door. The United States smiles, seeing Russia in such a state. "Russian Federation, you're late, the meeting has already started. But we'll forgive you this time," says USA, still smiling, leaning back in his chair. Britain muttered something under its breath, along the lines of, "How impolite to be late. What kind of young people are these days?" France refrained from commenting, as did China, which merely greeted Russia.
