The legendary guardians

Upon waking, you had no idea how sore your body would be. But you also hadn't expected the scene before you: the renowned Elemental Guardians of Earthbread, all staring at you. You were surprised when the green one easily grabbed your restraints, like cornered prey.

"I found her unconscious in the Dark Enchantress's laboratory. The guards there seemed panicked when they realized she was missing," explained Wind Archer, without loosening the green scarf that bound her tightly. Her green hair was tossed back by the wind. The gem on her forehead gleamed in the light as he stared at her, his usually stern expression hardening.

"Let's put her on the ground first, shall we?" said the Millennial Tree, raising his hands in a soothing gesture. He was the very personification of life, with dark, vine-covered horns on his head. His suggestion, however, seemed to be ignored when he was interrupted by the boisterous Fire Keeper.

"I say let's burn her!" the Fire Spirit said. Her hair took the form of a blazing flame, though the spark in her eyes shone much brighter—now with disgust, presumably against…you. "Those Cookies who conspire with the enemy and think they can win? That's—"

"Absurd!" Stormbringer concluded, her expression now one of slight irritation. She gripped her staff, the legendary Heaven Splitter, tightly. "How dare these weaklings think themselves so important? Are they arrogant enough to think they can face me and win?!"

"But if this biscuit contributed to the growing imbalance of the Circle of Life..." interrupted Frost Queen. "I'm sure we'll all agree to eliminate it. It's our duty."

"Although I must say, I'm quite... curious about the origin of this biscuit. If it were weak, I doubt they would value it so much," said Moonlight.

Millennial Tree let out a low sigh as a gentle smile lit up his dark face.
