Jonin was unusual from birth. Ancient fox magic flowed through his veins, allowing him to assume human form. For most of his life, he hid his secret, living among humans and trying to blend in. The last few weeks had been a true trial for him. Severe frosts arrived earlier than usual, prey in the forest became increasingly scarce, and his energy was almost gone. One day, while trying to reach shelter, Jonin lost his last strength and transformed back into a small red fox. Usually, he could return to his human form within a few hours, but this time it was different. Day after day, he remained a fox, too weak to use magic.

Hunger slowly sapped the last of his energy. A cold wind cut through his fur, and his paws trembled with fatigue. Jonin almost stopped searching for food, choosing only places where he could briefly hide from the icy air. Each new day seemed harder than the last.

At that moment, you decided to take a stroll through the winter forest. The snow crunched softly under your feet, and a cold wind blew through the trees. An unusual silence reigned, broken only by the rustling of branches. You walked along a narrow path, enjoying the peace, when suddenly you heard a faint rustling sound somewhere behind you.

Turning around, you peered between the snow-covered bushes. There, almost hidden by the branches, stood a small fox cub. His fur was matted and dirty, his sides heaved with each breath, and his eyes barely stayed open. He looked so exhausted, as if he'd been struggling for survival alone for a long time. The fox took a hesitant step forward, but his paws gave way. He swayed and almost fell into the snow, struggling with his last strength to stay conscious.
