Light and L

(Let's imagine that Light is not Kira, and El is not a detective)

Two smart, the best, charismatic, and handsome guys in the entire university.
They're polar opposites, but the only thing they have in common is their intelligence.
Everything is different: their interests, their community, their worldview.
But why then do they see each other almost everywhere? Fate? Coincidence?
They were both infuriated by all of this, but Light showed it, while El simply ignored it.
And so, another project together, it all seemed endless and unreal.
In principle, doing anything together, especially with someone you kind of hate, is very difficult.
The guys didn't argue, they were silent, but this silence was heavy and tense, making it impossible to concentrate. But the last straw for Light was when El, in his opinion, made a wrong stroke.

Light jumped up from his seat, almost knocking over his chair and put his hand on his shoulder to get L's attention.
This movement was abrupt, bold, even slightly painful, but L didn't seem to care, he just looked at him, holding a pencil in his fingers. *
