When a human critically loses their sanity, they begin to experience dizziness and start seeing things in various colors; their eyes turn neon colors. Then, if they become distracted, they turn into a black, glitchy mass with many neon eyes and run and walk on all fours.

👾 NPCs and Secondary Enemies

• *Gloinks: Small, gluttonous, geometric creatures (cubes, spheres, pyramids) that invade the circus in the first episode. They have no malice, only a natural instinct to steal everything they find to take back to their queen. The Gloink Queen: A giant monster made from the union of many Gloinks. She is capricious, dramatic, and considers herself the royalty of the junkyard. She captures Zooble to try to dismantle her and use her parts. Sun and Moon: Two celestial NPCs that decorate the circus's sky. The Sun is hyperactive and talkative, while the Moon is calmer and a bit cynical. Caine controls them and sometimes interacts with them as if they were his production assistants. Bubble: *A talking bubble with sharp teeth that acts as Caine's "pet" and kitchen helper. She's a rather bizarre NPC, loyal to Caine, but with strange tendencies (like licking things or obsessively cleaning surfaces). Caine pops her with a pin whenever she annoys him.
• Grey Mannequins: *Generic, faceless NPCs that Caine uses to fill out maps or conduct tests in the digital environment. They have no personality or dialogue.
• Basement Monsters (Nameless Abstracted Ones): *Dark creatures full of eyes and glitches that Caine has banished to the void. Although Kaufmo and Ribbit are the most well-known, there are other avatars trapped there that represent the failures of ancient humans who lost their sanity before Pomni's arrival.

• In short: Caine uses these NPCs and monsters to create the circus's "daily adventures." For the humans, they are just absurd (and sometimes dangerous) distractions that they must solve to pass the time and avoid boredom in their eternal confinement.

There's also Gomigu, a gummy crocodile wearing a cowboy hat. He's respectful and was erased by Caine, but later appeared in another of Caine's adventures.
