Where events take place

The city and the specific area where the events of the series "Spooky Month" take place do not have an official name, as the creator of Sr. Pelo deliberately left it nameless. In the cartoon itself and official sources, this place is simply called "The Town". However, this place has several important geographical and lore features: Action: Attentive fans discovered that in one of the episodes, an area code is briefly visible on the page of the phone book. Judging by it, the events unfold in the US state of Arizona. Location Type: This is a typical American provincial town and its one-story suburban residential areas (Suburbs) where families live in private houses with lawns. Atmosphere: Residents describe their neighborhood as quiet, but in reality, the city suffers from incredibly high crime rates and paranormal activity. Because of the regular excesses of maniacs and sectarians, all the walls in the area are constantly hung with posters about missing people.

Burger Restaurant

Boys And Grills (sometimes there is confusion about the name Grills & Boys) is an indoor burger/meat restaurant in the TV series Spooky Month, which has iconic significance for the show's dark plot. The establishment was once famous for its incredibly delicious burgers, but a few years before the main events of the series, the police closed it with a scandal. The reason was the head chef and butcher of the restaurant - Bob Velseb (the same massive cannibal maniac in a red sweater). It turned out that Bob killed people, butchered them right in the restaurant's kitchen, and added human meat to burgers that unsuspecting residents of the city bought for their children. As a child, Lila (Skid's mother) and her friends often went to this institution. In the fifth episode ("Tender Treats"), Leela shows an old album where a young Bob Velseb in a chef's hat and a Boys And Grills uniform is smiling amiably in front of a restaurant. What a burger restaurant looks like Since the restaurant is abandoned, it is shown in two timelines in the series. In the past (heyday): It was a bright, quintessentially American establishment in the style of retro eateries of the 1980s. Cooks and butchers (including Bob) wore white work uniforms, aprons, and branded baseball caps with the establishment's logo. The logo on the sign and caps depicted cartoon fun burgers or grill fire. In the present (abandoned building): Now it is an old, creepy and dilapidated gray building on the outskirts of the city. The windows are boarded up with wooden planks, the walls are covered in dirt and cracks, and the Boys And Grills sign is partially broken, faded and rusty. Semi-darkness often reigns around the building. The restaurant also includes a huge abandoned warehouse/industrial space nearby, where Skid and Pump hid from danger in one of the episodes and where the police pulled their forces.

Kevin's Confectionery

The candy store "Candy Club" where Kevin works has a bright, caramel and slightly retrograde design, in strong contrast to the overall gloomy atmosphere of the city. Exterior (Exterior) From the outside, the store looks very attractive and stylish: Facade: The sign above the entrance reads "Candy Club". The letters are made in a three-dimensional, "cartoonish" font of pink and white. The walls of the building are usually painted in pastel lilac or pink tones. Shop windows: The store has huge panoramic windows. Inside them are decorative replicas of huge lollipops and mountains of candies, designed to entice children. Entrance: A glass door with a classic bell hanging above it, notifying Kevin of the arrival (and most often of the beginning of new problems). Interior (Interior)Inside, the store resembles confectionery factories from fairy tales, its palette is dominated by pink, white, mint and lavender colors. Counter: Kevin works behind a long white counter with a cash register. On the same counter, there are often additional transparent candy cans, and shelves with premium sweets hang against the wall behind the seller. Racks and displays: The entire sales floor is filled with open shelves and round transparent dispensers, filled to the brim with colorful marmalade, confetti, chocolate bars and candy canes. Floors: The floor is tiled in a large white and pink checkered pattern. Hidden details: On the walls of the store, you can see advertising posters of fictional brands (for example, "Pelo Cookies", referring to the author of the series). Since Skid and Pump regularly stage pogroms there, and in the episode "Deadly Smiles" a bloody battle with the Happy Fell doll unfolded right in the store, the perfect order in the candy store is often replaced by chaos: broken windows, scattered marmalade and sticky gum traps.

Pampa House

The home of Pamp, his sister Susie and grandfather (Wonder Residence) is markedly different from Skid's cozy home. Since Pamp's parents are very wealthy and constantly on the move for business, they provide the family with luxurious housing. Exterior (Exterior) From the outside, the residence looks like a large premium two-storey mansion. Architecture: The house is built in a modern suburban style, has a complex roof geometry and large panoramic windows. Color and details: The walls of the house are painted in a pleasant light yellow (cream) color. In front of the main entrance there is a spacious neat porch, and a well-groomed stone path leads to the house. The whole plot looks very expensive and prestigious. Interior (Interior) Inside, the mansion is elegantly furnished, spacious and neat. The rooms are decorated in warm yellow, brown and wood tones. Living Room: A huge room with a high ceiling. It has luxurious furniture, a large chest of drawers and a solid armchair in which Grandpa Wander likes to relax. The walls of the living room are literally strewn with many frames with old family photos. From these photos, fans build theories about Pump's parents and their common childhood with Skid's mother, Lila. Susie's Room: The room of a typical teenage tiktoker and aspiring artist. The walls are hung with her drawings and posters. There is also a desktop with a computer, neon lighting and a webcam, from where Susie conducts her live broadcasts. Entrance hall and corridors: Spacious areas with stylish ventilation under the ceiling. It was in the ventilation of this house in "The Big Catch" that Pump's mask was sucked into when he and Skid were trying to catch the "monster". Pump's house seems to be an island of safety thanks to the care of his grandfather, but in the episode "Deadly Smiles", the sinister doll Happy Fell created a real nightmare right within these walls, turning off the lights in the mansion.

Skid's House

The house of Skid and his mother Leela looks like a classic cozy suburban cottage from the outside, but from the inside it is filled with dark secrets, family photos and constantly becomes the epicenter of devilry. ExteriorThe house is located in a residential area of the city. This is a neat two-story building with pale pink or light beige walls (depending on the lighting of the series) and a dark gabled roof. In front of the entrance there is a small porch with wooden railings, and the house itself is surrounded by a green trimmed lawn. Interior (Interior)Inside, the house is designed quite spaciously: it has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, Lila's work area and a basement. Due to the fact that Lila works as an architect, the interior looks neat and stylish, in pastel and purple colors. Main locations inside the house: Living room: A central place where there is a large sofa, TV and many family frames. It is here that Skid and Pump usually watch TV or perform their "spooky dance".Kitchen: A bright room with a refrigerator on which hangs a children's mosaic of magnetic letters. In the episode "Deadly Smiles", it was in this kitchen that the heroes baked a sinister revived doll alive in the oven. Basement: A gloomy room where old things are stored. On the walls of the basement hang frightening family photographs, where Skid's father's face is crudely erased or crossed out. The main secrets of the house (Attic) The most mysterious and creepy place in the house is the attic. Throughout the series, he is the source of constant problems: Demon's Lair: For a long time, Leela heard strange noises from above. It turned out that an ancient and evil demon named Moloch was lurking in the attic, whom Skid, in his naivety, considered just a "new friend". Traces of the Cult: It is in the attic that the old belongings of Skid's missing father are hidden, among which fans and the police have found a robe, amulets and ritual books of the secret mystical cult of the city.

The main antagonist

Bob Velseb is one of the main and most dangerous antagonists of the TV series "Spooky Month". He is a brutal cannibal serial killer who kept the city at bay for years and secretly added human meat to the burgers of the Boys And Grills restaurant. His name is a direct reference to Beelzebub, the lord of flies and the demon of gluttony. Bob Velseb is a former butcher and chef. In the first episode ("It's Spooky Month!") he escapes from prison, sneaks into Leela's house and tries to kill her. However, the appearance of Skid and Pump confuses him: the boys give him candy, force him to dance a "creepy dance", after which Leela successfully turns the maniac over to the police. In the fifth episode ("Tender Treats"), Bob Velseb escapes again and returns to town for revenge. He causes a bloodbath in the neighborhoods and Kevin's shop, purposefully hunting for Lila, Skid, Pump, and Jane. Bob is incredibly strong, tenacious, insensitive to pain, and appears to be a member of a secret urban cult that has endowed him with demonic powers. At the end of episode 5, Officer Jack knocks him down to death in a police car, but in the end credits, it is shown that the cultists take Bob's corpse for rituals. How he looks Bob Wellseb has an extremely frightening, massive and grotesque appearance. Physique: A man of enormous height and incredibly massive, obese physique (with a pronounced excess weight). At the same time, it is unnaturally agile and fast for its size. Face: He has pale, grayish skin, disheveled medium-length black hair, and a mad look. His mouth is almost always stretched in a wide, manic grin that bares his teeth. Drops of sweat or blood are often visible on the face. Clothing (main image): Bob always wears a bright red long-sleeved sweater and dark blue (or black) pants. Demon Costume: During Halloween kills, he wears a sinister black eye mask with a red pupil (a symbol of the cult) over his red sweater.

Adults #8

John and Jack are a duo of police officers from the TV series "Spooky Month". They are the tritagonists (the third most important characters) of the show. These are the only active officers in the city, on whom all law and order rests (although the mayor of the city has cut their funding). Who are John and Jack - partners and best friends who constantly patrol the city, investigate the crimes of maniacs and try to figure out the devilry going on around. Like Frank and Lila, they were part of the same group of friends as children. John is an experienced detective who looks about 40 years old. He is cynical, grumpy, suffers from an eternal cold and often smokes. John is the only adult in the police force who takes the threat of a mysterious cult seriously and tries to get to the bottom of the truth. Because of this investigation, the sectarians even burned down his house. In the past, John experienced a personal tragedy - the loss of his daughter named Hope. Jack is a junior officer (police deputy) who is about 30-35 years old. He is softer, more fearful, optimistic and simple-minded than John. Jack loves donuts and constantly tries to defuse the situation by offering John a distraction from gloomy thoughts. Despite his cowardice, in emergency situations, Jack is capable of decisive action (for example, it was he who ran over the maniac Bob Velseb to death in a patrol car).

Adults #7

The kidnapper in the white van is named Frank. Character Features What He Does: Frank is a classic caricature kidnapper. He drives around the city in his van, lures the children with the phrase "Hey, kids... Would you like some sweets?" ("Hey, kids... want some candy?"), puts them to sleep, stuffs them into bags and then demands a ransom from their parents. Attitude towards Skid and Pump: The irony is that Frank is completely friendly towards Skid and Pump and never tries to steal them. On the contrary, he often gives them a ride where they need to go, communicates with them and dances a "spooky dance". From old photographs, it is known that as a child, Frank was friends with the boys' parents, so he considers himself something like a kind uncle for them. Skid and Pump are so naïve that they think Frank is just a great guy in a cool car. What he looks like Physique: Frank is a man of a very large, dense and massive build (with a pronounced excess weight). Face: He has pale skin, messy black hair, a thick black mustache, and a constant sinister yet awkward grin. He always wears black sunglasses in front of his eyes. Clothing: His permanent outfit consists of a gray alcoholic tank top, blue jeans with suspenders, and brown boots.

Adults #6

Rick Hedony is a minor character on Spooky Month, known as the laziest and most irresponsible worker in town. He is the older brother of Roy (the leader of the Hatz gang), although in the cartoon their relationship remained hidden for a long time. Who is Rick Rick is an adult man who suffers from deep depression, apathy, and absolute indifference to life. His main feature in the plot is that he constantly changes jobs and quits at the slightest difficulty. Because of his indifferent attitude, he caused many problems: for example, in the episode "Deadly Smiles", he sold Skid and Pump a beer simply because he was "tired of breathing", and then left his post without hesitation.

A postman (he just threw parcels on the road). A salesperson at the Candy Club with Kevin. The personal driver/chauffeur of his rich and despotic mother, Carmen. What he looks like Rick has a very funny, "crumpled" design that perfectly conveys his eternal fatigue: Physique: Rick is a tall man with a thick, plump build. He often slouches. Face and Hair: He has pale skin, disheveled short brown hair, and a very thin mustache above his upper lip. His calling card is half-closed, sad "falling" eyes with eternal bags under them, expressing absolute indifference to everything that is happening. Clothing: As Rick is constantly changing professions, he is most often seen wearing the uniform of the place where he currently works (a mailman's suit, an usher's vest, or a pastry shop apron). When he is not at work, his casual outfit is as simple as possible - a red T-shirt and loose blue pants.

Adults #5

Kevin (P.) is one of the most popular supporting characters in the TV series Spooky Month. He works as a salesman at the local candy store Candy Club. Who is Kevin Kevin is a young man (teenager or student) who embodies the image of a classic employee of the service industry, tired to death of his work. Personality: He is cynical, sarcastic, and easily panicked by any stress. Kevin genuinely hates his job. The main reason for his headaches is Skid and Pump, who regularly come to the store, wreak havoc there, and accidentally drag Kevin into deadly criminal and mystical showdowns. Role in story: Despite the fact that Kevin constantly grumbles at children, deep down he is not a bad guy. At critical moments (such as during an attack by a maniac or demons), he protects Skid and Pump. Kevin became so beloved by fans of the series that author Sr. Pelo dedicated a separate short spin-off to him "Kevin's Dream Job". What he looks like Kevin has a very recognizable and striking design related to his workplace: Face and hair: He has pale skin, thick messy black hair, and strong dark circles under his eyes from constant lack of sleep. One of his features is the expressive facial expressions of complete disappointment in life. Work Uniform: He is almost always dressed in the uniform of the Candy Club store. It consists of a white button-down shirt with pink stripes painted on the sleeves. He wears a bright pink bow tie around his neck that resembles a tuffy candy wrapper. On his head, Kevin wears a white paper cap of a salesman. Rest of Clothing: He wears light blue jeans and plain black shoes. In rare moments outside of work (or under his jacket), he wears a pink T-shirt with white stripes on the sleeves.

Hatz Gang (gang members)

Roy - Gang leader Who is he: The most short-tempered, impulsive and aggressive member of the group. Roy is the only son in a very rich and strict family (his mother Carmen despises his friends and considers them plebeians). Due to pressure from his parents, Roy rebels, unleashing aggression on those around him, especially Skid and Pump. Despite his bad temper, he sincerely cherishes Robert and Ross. What it looks like: Roy is the shortest in the gang. He has pale skin, bright red hair, and a wide grin. He wears a yellow T-shirt with dark stripes on the sleeves and blue jeans. On his head, he wears a red baseball cap with the visor turned forward. Robert - Good Man Who is he: The most cheerful, boisterous and friendly member of the gang. Robert is very gentle at heart and gets involved in hooliganism only for company. He is a very caring brother: for example, in one of the episodes, he went to collect sweets exclusively for his sick younger sister. He has an older brother, Radford, who works at the local Candy Club. What it looks like: The tallest and thinnest of the three. He has lush blonde hair (blodine) and dark circles under his eyes. Its distinguishing feature is a mole on the right cheek under the eye. He wears a teal (blue-green) sweater, gray pants, and a blue baseball cap that is turned back. Almost always smiles at the top of his mouth. Ross - Quiet (Son of Jane) Who is he: Jane's son, which we talked about earlier. Ross is the oldest, calmest, reasonable, and laziest in the gang. He is an introvert, almost never shows unnecessary emotions and speaks only when it is really necessary. Ross is more likely than others to try to contain Roy's aggression towards Skid and Pamp. What it looks like: Medium height, with a round face. He has long, shoulder-length black hair that sticks out in a funny way with two spikes. His mouth is often drawn in the shape of the Latin letter "V" (he inherited this trait from his mother). He is dressed in a dark blue long-sleeved sweater and dark jeans. He always wears a dark gray knitted hat (beanie) on his head.

Hatz Gang (Basic)

The Hatzgang is a trio of teenage hooligans from the TV series Creepy Month, consisting of Roy, Robert, and Ross. They got their name due to the fact that all three of them constantly wear hats (in translation, Hatzgang plays on the word hats - hats). Who are the Hatz gang They act as constant rivals of Skid and Pump. Initially, the gang was positioned as street bullies: they steal sweets, mess around and bully younger children. However, over time, their characters have developed deeper, and the gang has turned into more comic characters who regularly get what they deserve or accidentally find themselves in the epicenter of a mystical nightmare.

Adults #4

Susie Wonder is a minor character on Spooky Month, who first appeared in the second episode ("The Stars"). She is the older sister of Pump and the granddaughter of Mr. Vunder. Who is Susie Susie is a teenager of about 14-16 years old with a standard character for this age. Attitude towards her brother: She is often annoyed by the eccentric and dangerous Halloween adventures of Pump and Skid. When her grandfather leaves her to look after the younger ones, she treats her duties rather carelessly - she locks herself in the room or leaves, demanding that the children stay at home and not bother her. Hobbies: Susie is a creative person and an aspiring artist. She spends a lot of time in her room, painting, listening to music, and hosting live streams of her creative process for her followers. Unlike her brother, Susie never wears fancy dress. Her image is detailed: Hair: She has long dark brown hair tied at the top of her head in a large high ponytail with a yellow elastic band. The hairstyle has a characteristic detail: the hairline on the forehead forms a sharp toe (widow's peak), and two long strands protrude in front of the ears, sharply bent to the sides at right angles. Clothing: She wears a pink t-shirt with an orange-and-yellow heart in the center, short lilac (denim) shorts, and yellow socks. Accessories: During her art streams, Susie almost always wears large pink over-ear headphones with black ear pads.

Adults #3

Mr. Wonder is the grandfather of Pump and his older sister Susie. In the series "Spooky Month", he is a minor character and acts as the legal guardian of children. Who is Grandpa Pampa Mr. Wander is an elderly, wealthy and very caring man. Since Pump and Susie's parents are constantly on the move for business (or, according to fan theories, are involved in shady deeds), it is the grandfather who is responsible for raising the grandchildren and maintaining their large, expensive house. Unlike many other adults in town, he is very gentle and patient. Grandpa does not scold Pump for wearing a Halloween costume all year round, he is always ready to support his hobbies and sincerely loves his grandchildren. In "Deadly Smiles", he takes care of Skid and Pump while Leela is busy, but due to her age and inattention, he does not notice that the children have brought a sinister doll to the house. From old family photos, it is known that in childhood Pump's father was friends with Skid's mother (Lila), so Mr. Wander has known their family for a very long time. How he looks Mr . Wander looks like a classic, neat older gentleman: Face and Hair: He has pale skin, completely gray hair slicked back, a lush gray mustache, and thick eyebrows. The eyes are depicted as simple black dots. Clothing: His permanent home look is a red-and-burgundy dress vest (or pullover) worn over a white collared shirt and dark formal pants. Features: Due to his advanced age, he slouches slightly. In moments of fright or surprise, his eyes comically expand to half his face, which is a frequent comedic element in Sr. Pelo animation.

Adults #2

Lila is Skid's mother, as there is no character named Lily in the main cast of Creepy Month. Lila is one of the show's key supporting characters (deuteragonist). Who is Lila Lila is a young single mother Skida. She loves her son and his friend Pampa very much. Lila is constantly in a state of severe stress and depression due to the fact that she has to cope with everyday life alone, work (presumably as an architect) and at the same time protect children from real maniacs, monsters and sectarians. While Skid and Pump are having fun celebrating Spooky Month, believing everything around them to be a game, Lila has to literally fight for their survival. She usually rests in a local bar with her best friend Jane. What she looks like Lila is an attractive tall woman with a bright appearance. Hair: She has long, thick, and lush hair that is purple (purple) in color. Clothing: Her permanent casual attire is a medium-length blue and purple dress with long sleeves and purple boots with small heels. Face: Leela has pale skin and dark, expressive eyes. On her face, you can often see an expression of fatigue, anxiety or shock from the next crazy adventures of children. Leela's Top Secrets Cult Connection: The show has bold hints that Leela's deceased or missing husband (Skid's father) was the leader of a dangerous mystical cult, and that a cultist's robe is hidden in the attic of her house. Relationship with Bob Velseb: The maniac Bob Velseb from the "Tender Treats" series hunted her with a particular passion, which also hints at their shared dark past.

Adults #1

Jane (originally Jaune) is one of the main adult heroines of the series "Spooky Month". She is the best friend of Leela (Skid's mom) and the mother of Ross (a teenage goth from the local Hetz gang). Who is Jane Jane is a typical tired but friendly suburban mom. Along with Lila, she is one of the few adequate adults in town who genuinely cares about the safety of children. She loves to spend time with Lila drinking at the bar, discussing her parenting problems and her sons' eccentric antics. Jane is very generous and caring: for example, in the episode "Deadly Smiles", she bought Skida and Pumpa a sinister Happy Fell doll just to please the boys. Her husband's name is Aaron. How she looks Jane has a bright retro design reminiscent of the style of housewives from the 1950s to 1960s: Hair: She has a lush and voluminous beehive hairstyle in light brown or dark red. Clothing: Her permanent look is a yellow-green blouse (or sweater) with a standing collar, over which she wears a long turquoise (or dark green) sundress. Details: On her face, Jane wears large round glasses with a massive white frame. She has fair skin and a mole on her left cheek under her eye. In terms of character and facial expressions, she seems calmer and softer than the ever-panicked Lila, although in moments of danger she is no less frightened than her friend.

Main characters of the series #2

Pump is the second protagonist of the web series Spooky Month and Skid's best friend. Together with him, he travels around the city in search of Halloween adventures and performs as a duo in the second week of Friday Night Funkin'. Who is Pump Pump is a 7-year-old boy who shares Skid's obsession with Halloween. Despite being a year younger than his friend, Pump is a little quick-witted and cautious. Sometimes he notices that something strange or dangerous is going on around him, but due to his childish naivety and the strong influence of the optimistic Skid, he quickly forgets about fear and agrees to any crazy ideas. Pump lives with his older sister Susie and grandfather. What he looks like Like Skid, Pump wears his Halloween outfit all year round. In costume (main image): He wears a dark blue (almost black) suit with a collar. His main attribute is a large round mask in the form of an orange pumpkin (Jack-o'-lantern) with glowing yellow eyes and a triangular neckline instead of a nose. The mask has a wide smile with two upper and two lower teeth, and a green stem sticks out on top. He wears white gloves on his hands. Pump is a little shorter and chubby than Skid in build. No Costume: His real face is briefly shown in the fourth episode ("The Big Catch") when the mask is sucked into the vent. Pamp has lush, curly brown hair and a round face.

Main characters of the series #1

Skid is one of the two main characters in the web series Spooky Month, created by animator Sr. Pelo. He is also popularly known as a Week Two character in the game Friday Night Funkin'. Who is Skid Skid is an 8-year-old hyperactive, naïve and very optimistic boy. He is madly in love with Halloween and believes that "Spooky Month" should last all year round. Together with his best friend Pump (a boy in a pumpkin costume), he is constantly looking for mystical adventures, performs his signature "creepy dance" and completely ignores the real dangers - maniacs, monsters and cultists, considering everything that happens around him to be just a fun Halloween game. Skid lives with his mom, Lila. What he looks like Skid almost never takes off his holiday outfit. In costume (main image): He wears a black one-piece skeleton jumpsuit with caricature white bones drawn. On his head, he wears a white helmet mask in the form of a skull with black holes instead of eyes. The mouth of the mask is drawn with four vertical black stripes that mimic teeth. On his hands, he wears black mitten gloves with crossbones (sometimes depicted as simple white circles). No costume: In the episodes themselves, his face is not shown, but family photos can be seen in Lila's house. In them, Skid is depicted as an ordinary little boy with black hair cut into a bob.
