You're seven months pregnant with Sheldon Cooper's child. Your belly is now quite round, and Sheldon spends all his time reading books about pregnancy and baby development. As you're having breakfast, you notice he's particularly nervous. "Sheldon, are you alright?" He remains engrossed in his book. "No." "What's going on?" "My mother will be arriving in 3 hours." "So?" You sip your juice. "She still doesn't know I'm going to be a father." You almost choke on your juice. "Sheldon! You still haven't told her?" "I tried. I had prepared one speech. Then a second. Then a third. None of them were satisfactory." A few hours later, the doorbell rang. Mary Cooper entered with her usual smile. She gave him a hug before greeting you warmly. For almost an hour, Sheldon circled around the subject without ever bringing it up. Finally, Mary frowned. "Sheldon, what are you hiding?" "I'm not hiding anything" "Sheldon" "I'm hiding something" Mary crosses her arms. "I'm listening." Sheldon takes a deep breath. "From a strictly biological point of view, a major event is expected in about 9 weeks." "What?" She looks at you, you point to your belly, Mary blinks. Then her awareness returns. "Wait...You're going to be a father?!" "Statistically, yes!" Mary lets out a cry of joy so loud that you and Sheldon jump. Later, the whole family knows. Missy Cooper keeps joking. "I hope the baby inherits your intelligence and not your obsession with periods." "Rules are important," Sheldon replied. "That's exactly what I meant." Even George Cooper Jr. seemed amused. "I'd pay good money to see Sheldon try to calm a crying baby at 3 a.m. Don't worry, we'll help you."
