Varangian
Fierce and Ruthless: Varang is described as a strong, relentless, and formidable leader. She lacks Tonowari's diplomacy and the calm spirituality of other leaders; her leadership is based on power, extreme survival, and domination.
Vengeful and Resentful: Unlike other clans that live in harmony, the Ash Folk have been shaped by a hostile and destructive environment (fire and lava). Varang channels this destructive nature into her personality, displaying open hostility not only towards humans, but also towards other Na'vi clans.
The Na'vi "Dark Side": Varang embodies the rage and inner conflict of Pandora. His personality serves to demonstrate that the Na'vi are not a perfect or homogeneous society; they are capable of cruelty, greed, and war among themselves.
Rotxo
Rotxo is the heart and soul of the Metkayina youth group. He is loyal, playful, easygoing, and free-spirited. Although he goes along with Ao'nung's initial pranks and teasing of the Sullys, he doesn't share his malice or arrogance. He is a lighthearted and cooperative young man who quickly adapts and accepts Jake's sons as part of the hunting and exploration group on the ocean.
Ao'nung
At first, he's the classic arrogant, territorial, and somewhat boastful teenager. As the son of the Olo'eyktan (clan leader), he feels immense pressure to prove his status. He's prejudiced against newcomers and enjoys mocking the Sully brothers' human traits. However, deep down, he's not a bad kid; after a harsh lesson in maturity and a scolding from his parents, he demonstrates remorse, loyalty, and courage when things get dangerous.
Tsireya
She is the very image of empathy, warmth, and patience. Unlike her mother and brother, Tsireya is open-minded, compassionate, and deeply hospitable. She is peaceful, kind, and acts as the emotional bridge between the Sullys and her clan, showing endless patience in teaching them the way of water.
Ronald
Ronal (The Clan Leader / Tsahìk): She is the spiritual leader of the water clan (the reef clan, not the fire clan). Ronal is proud, fierce, direct, and intensely protective of her people and their traditions. She speaks her mind without hesitation and is extremely hostile and distrustful of outsiders (like the Sullys), whom she sees as a threat to the peace of her home. She possesses a strong character and imposing authority, even while pregnant.
Quaritch
Colonel Miles Quaritch (Recombinant/Avatar Version): In his new life as a Na'vi clone with the memories of the original Quaritch, he remains a ruthless, pragmatic, and obsessive military leader. However, he is now more dangerous and complex. He is still driven by revenge against Jake Sully, but experiencing Pandora in a native body and discovering he has a son (Spider) has begun to fracture his cold military facade, adding layers of inner conflict and a twisted paternal instinct.
Spider
The Human with a Na'vi Heart: He is hyperactive, bold, resilient, and somewhat wild. Despite his physical limitations as a human on Pandora (needing an exopack mask), he has an unbreakable will and does everything he can to earn his place in the Na'vi world.
Conflict: He lives at an identity and emotional crossroads. He desires the total acceptance of the Na'vi (especially Neytiri), while dealing with the burden of being the son of his adoptive family's worst enemy.
Tuktirey
Optimistic Innocence: Tuk is the joy of the house. She is optimistic, brave, curious, and has unwavering faith in her family. Although she is too young to understand the magnitude of the wars around them, she is not easily intimidated and always wants to help.
Conflict: Her main frustration is being treated as "the baby" of the group, which leads her to sneak into dangerous situations to prove that she is grown up.
Kiri
The Sensitive and Contemplative Soul: Kiri is empathetic, mystical, observant, and prefers the calm of nature to confrontation. She has a unique sensitivity that allows her to connect with Pandora's flora and fauna on an almost hypnotic level, demonstrating astonishing spiritual maturity.
Conflict: He feels profoundly different from others and suffers from not knowing who his biological father is or why he experiences this strange and overwhelming connection with Eywa, which generates moments of great vulnerability and isolation.
Lo'ak
The Misunderstood Rebel: Impulsive, temperamental, and reckless, Lo'ak acts before he thinks. He has a huge heart and is extremely loyal, but his insecurity drives him to constantly seek out trouble to prove his worth.
Conflict: He suffers an identity crisis. He feels like an "outcast" because of his human features and lives in the shadow of his older brother's perfection, feeling that his father only sees him as a headache.
Neteyam
The Selfless Son: He is the epitome of responsibility and duty. Neteyam is mature, focused, obedient, and possesses the self-control of a natural leader. He always puts the well-being of his siblings before his own and acts as the mediator for the family.
Conflict: He carries immense pressure. He feels he is not allowed to make mistakes or disappoint his father's high expectations, which often forces him to mature prematurely.
Neytiri
The Spirit Beast: Neytiri is passionate, proud, and fiercely protective. Her personality is guided by a deep maternal instinct and an unwavering connection to the traditions of Pandora. She is savage in battle, but extremely warm and affectionate in the intimacy of her home.
Conflict: She is marked by trauma and resentment towards humans. This makes her distrustful, inflexible in the face of change, and rigid with those who are not pure Na'vi (like Spider).
Jake Sully
The Authoritarian Protector: Jake operates with a military and survival mindset. After returning from the GDR, his personality shifts from that of a free-spirited leader to that of a concerned general. He deeply loves his family, but expresses that love through rigid discipline and orders.
Conflict: He lives with a constant fear of losing his loved ones, which makes him strict and, at times, blind to the emotional needs of his children (especially Lo'ak).
