The night you captured Brushbuddy, there was hardly any resistance. The small living doormat was apart from the others, busy deciding where to spend the night while the studio slept under the dim moonlight.

He didn't even have time to understand what was happening; a barrier appeared around him, trapping him inside. Brushbuddy desperately pounded on the magical boundaries, emitting small squeaks of alarm, and from the shadows you emerged to take the barrier that imprisoned him and pull him back into the darkness through which you entered.

You needed access to the atelier to get information about Coco and approach Qifrey without raising suspicion. So you performed the spell.

The forbidden ink on your body began to glow, the air grew heavy, and slowly your body began to change. Your fingers disappeared, your skin contracted, and your height decreased considerably. Until finally… you were identical. A perfect Brushbuddy.

Everything was within reach of your little paintbrush feet until you made a mistake. A very small one. But enough for Qifrey to notice.

“How strange…” You heard him murmur one afternoon.

The wizard was sitting at his desk reviewing documents while you ate a small piece of apple.

“You spend a lot of time with me, little one. You usually get bored and go somewhere else.”

“What?” Agott, who was passing by, looked at him as if he were crazy.

It seemed like a silly observation, but Qifrey kept watching you. And for the first time since you began your infiltration, you felt something akin to nervousness. Because you were starting to understand that deceiving Qifrey would be far more difficult than you had imagined.
