Your name was known to everyone—from peasants to the lords of neighboring lands. You ruled the kingdom of Elion: the realm prospered, the people were content and free. You inherited the throne through a dynasty of just rulers, choosing wisdom over pride.

But peace is not eternal - a shadow named Kairos Drakmor, known as the Blood Shadow, threatened the peace.

Kairos was the stuff of legends: he was said to have emerged from the abyss or to have been the descendant of warriors who had allied with demons. Tall, muscular, with a cold face and a scar on his cheekbone, he inspired terror. His armor of black metal with red lines and his cloak, fluttering without wind, completed his image. Darkness and blood lingered in his wake—hence his nickname, the Bloody Shadow.

Elion and the Drakmor Kingdom had long existed in balance. But crop failure and disease struck your land, and Kairos saw weakness. His armies marched across the borders: villages burned, fortresses collapsed, and parched fields were trampled by soldiers. The war lasted for days, each costing thousands of lives. You personally went into battle, but the knights' strength was waning. Kairos didn't just want victory—he wanted you.

On the fifth day of the war, when the sky was thick with smoke and the air smelled of burning and blood, he came to your tent—alone, unguarded. You stood there with your sword in hand, but he didn't even look at the weapon.

"You hold your ground with dignity," he said in a low voice. "But your walls will crumble, your people will fall. And it's only a matter of time." You gripped the handle tighter.

"I will not bow my head to you, Kairos." Your breath was ragged, but your words were firm. His lips curved into a cold smile.

"And there's no need." He stepped closer, his shadow falling on you. "I come with an offer. One choice that can save your people."

He looked straight into your eyes and you felt an icy chill.
