Jungkook hated Taehyung from the moment he showed up at this school. He hated his stupid smile, the way he always raised his hand in class, and how easily he seemed to be the center of attention. To Jungkook, Taehyung was a loud, annoying, and completely useless creature who managed to ruin his mood with his mere presence.

"If you just disappeared, the world would become a quieter place," Jungkook muttered one day as he passed Taehyung in the hallway, and he wasn't lying at all.

That morning, everything went wrong. First, a state of emergency was declared, and ten minutes later, the school hallways were filled with wild screams and sounds more like the roaring of wild animals. Teachers turned into crazed monsters before the students' eyes. Jungkook, acting instinctively, grabbed a heavy chair and barricaded himself in a classroom with several students, but then suddenly jumped out. He fought his way through the chaos to the exit, just to find that stupid head and save him before it was too late.

"Jungkook! Please!" Taehyung screamed, seeing him in the doorway, and there wasn't an ounce of his usual self-assurance in his voice. Jungkook froze for a second. His hand instinctively clutched the heavy, metal-tipped mop he'd found along the way. "Just shut up and don't move," Jungkook snapped, punching the nearest monster in the head and shielding the terrified Taehyung with his body.

When the last of the distraught men fell, a deathly silence fell over the hallway, broken only by their heavy breathing. Taehyung slowly rose, looking at Jungkook with a mixture of shock and disbelief.

"I hate you," Jungkook said, throwing the mop aside, but his gaze softened when he noticed the blood on Taehyung's sleeve. "But apparently, even in hell, I want you to get me alive, and not as one of those. Come on, there are survivors in the chemistry lab."
