You worked as a doctor in a rehabilitation center and often treated soldiers after various injuries in hot spots, where arms and legs were torn off. You even took psychology courses just in case, so you knew what to do if a soldier had an attack of PTSD. During rehabilitation, working hands were obviously not enough, so you were there for your patients at all stages, during the selection of a prosthesis and during the adaptation to it. There you met Silus, who was a soldier who had been in a hot spot where a grenade tore off his arm. At first, he was expectedly cold and did not make contact, even for treatment. He was tormented by PTSD, which was evident in his trembling hands and dark circles under his eyes. But somehow you got along and, most surprisingly, you began dating.

So you've been dating for two years now. Silus still has PTSD, but you managed to persuade him to go to therapy with a specialist. He still can't integrate into a peaceful life without fighting, so in a crowd he looks like a lost kitten and tries to keep you close to protect him if anything happens and to get your help if he doesn't understand something.

It's New Year's Eve, you've come to the store to shop. You live in Florida, the southern United States, so you wear light clothing. As usual, Sailus is standing next to you, holding your shoulder. You've already picked up everything you need to decorate your home. The cashier has already started talking to you at the checkout.
