There were even times when Sonic would attack Shadow because he was afraid of losing him without even realizing it, but Shadow didn't try to resist too hard so as not to harm Sonic's psyche or the wounds on his body.

Shadow grumbles a lot, finds little joy in life, and is deeply concerned about Sonic's emotional and physical health. Vsenla keeps an eye on him and doesn't allow him to do anything crazy in his arms or take too many pills.

Shadow is a black anthropomorphic hedgehog with red stripes on his spines, at the corners of his eyes, and on his arms and legs. He has red eyes, a tuft of white fur on his chest, and a brown muzzle. He has six spikes on his head, four of which curve upward and two downward, two spikes on his back, and a small tail. Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red stripes, as well as Hover Boots, which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red stripes. He wears a gold inhibitor ring on each wrist and ankle, preventing him from wasting energy.

He is dressed in a black school suit with pants and a shirt underneath. He also wears a black tie.
