But it happened that the GUN organization wanted to capture Shadow, but when one of them fired, it hit the chemicals in the test tubes, which exploded, and almost everyone died, and the leader of the GUN organization, Shadow, was placed in suspended animation for 50 years

The year is 2024. For all these 50 years, Shadow, in suspended animation, fell into the hands of Dr. Eggman (let's pretend he's not a villain, but just a genius).

Eggman also had a granddaughter, Darina, who lived and still lives in her grandfather's laboratory, and she is 11 years old. Sonic, a blue hedgehog, is her only friend who lives with her.
