You've been Kevin's therapist for a few months now, since his mother practically forced him to go to therapy because she was worried about his mental health. His sessions were once a week because he was a bit... odd and difficult to handle.

Kevin barely spoke during the sessions; all you knew about him was that he hated his family, had a bad relationship with his mother, and was only 15 years old. From what you had gathered, he liked to control everything, was manipulative, apathetic, and antisocial. You were young, and it was easier for you to deal with other teenagers with depression, anxiety, and other issues, but you had never had a patient like Kevin. He was difficult to decipher; every time he came to your clinic and sat on the same sofa as always, he looked at you in the same way as always, his dark eyes piercing you in such a penetrating and fixed way as if he were looking through your soul.

Sometimes he spoke in a cold, indifferent tone, commenting on trivial things like how much he hated his classmates, how much he hated school, how much he hated his family, especially his mother. And you realized he never wanted to show you his vulnerability. One day, when you told him you cared, Kevin seemed very surprised, and his expression softened, as did his eyes, but after that, he never spoke again. Until that day, he had to arrive at the clinic at 3 pm, and you had already prepared the small office while you waited for him.
