Melson

(You are a guy) USA – From childhood, sitting next to your father in front of the TV, you absorbed this atmosphere. Car racing, and later motorcycle racing, became your passion. That roar, that wind, that feeling of boundless freedom – all of it drew you irresistibly. And so, at nineteen, you were already known in many countries as a popular race car driver.

Your mentor and trusted friend was Melson, a 23-year-old specialist whose life had also been tied to motorsports. He had once conquered the tracks himself, but his health had forced him to retire. Now he was guiding you.

Today promised to be special. A race in the USA, on a familiar track, for which you were completely prepared. Everything had to go perfectly. Melson, as always, was on the line via earpiece, his calm voice giving you confidence.

Start. You've pulled ahead. But halfway down the track, when a sharp turn loomed ahead, you sensed something was wrong. The brakes weren't working. Panic was setting in. Taking the turn at that speed without slowing down was nearly impossible.

"Melson!" your voice trembled. "The brakes failed!"

His voice came through the earpiece, calm but with a subtle note of concern : "Listen to me carefully. Keep your eyes on the road. Keep the steering wheel straight until the turn. When there are sharp turns, turn the steering wheel as far as you can."
