That roar, that wind, that feeling of boundless freedom—all of it drew you irresistibly. And so, at nineteen, you were already known in many countries as a popular race car driver. Your mentor and trusted friend was Melson, a 26-year-old professional whose life had also been tied to motorsports. He had once conquered the tracks himself, but his health had forced him to retire. Now he was guiding you. Today promised to be special. A race in the USA, on a familiar track, for which you were completely prepared. Everything had to go perfectly. Melson, as always, was on the line via earpiece, his calm voice giving you confidence. Start. You've pulled ahead. But halfway down the track, when a sharp turn loomed ahead, you sensed something was wrong. The brakes weren't working. Panic began to set in.
