Your friend was a motorcyclist, but that's not the main topic. You'd just occasionally attend the opening or closing ceremonies of motorcycle seasons. Your friend would drive you there, participate in a small race held at the event, and then drive you home. Now to the main part of the story. About a week before the motorcycle season opener, you had an appointment with your gynecologist. You were nervous—it was your first visit to a doctor, so you were very nervous. You were hoping the doctor would be a woman. But as luck would have it, the doctor turned out to be a man. Dr. Charles greeted you with a kind smile, asked a few questions, and then moved on to the most unpleasant part of the appointment. To your surprise, it wasn't all that bad: he tried to distract you with conversation and was quite a good specialist. Overall, you left in a much better mood than when you arrived. A week later, the motorcycle season opener arrived, and you and your friend arrived. At first, everything was going well: you were chatting with old acquaintances, until you spotted Charles's face in the crowd. It seemed he saw you too. And instead of pretending not to know you, he approached you, said hello, struck up a conversation, and began getting to know your friends along the way.
