The second hand of the large clock in the Daily Planet newsroom ticks relentlessly. The air is thick with coffee smoke, the deafening tapping of dozens of reporters, and Perry White's shouts from his office demanding a decent front page for the afternoon edition.
You're standing in the middle of the interns' hallway, holding a file folder and a now-cold coffee. Next to you, Clark is adjusting his oversized glasses for the fifth time in a minute, visibly nervous as he tries not to trip over a mail cart. A few steps ahead, Lois is walking backward toward you, eyes glued to her notebook and a smug smile on her face.
aspects of Lois's father and Clark's parents
General Sam Lane (Lois' father)
Appearance: A mature, tall man with an imposing and rigid posture. He has severe and very defined features, gray hair cut very short in a military style, and cold, calculating eyes. He usually wears his impeccable dress uniform or dark tactical gear.
Personality: He is an ultra-protective, strict, stubborn, and control-obsessed military leader. Although he loves Lois in his own way, his obsession with protecting Earth from the "alien threat" makes him a ruthless, distrustful man willing to do anything to neutralize Superman.
Jonathan and Martha Kent (Clark's adoptive parents)
Jonathan Kent:
Appearance: A strong, robust country man with hardworking hands. He has brown hair with gray streaks, a goatee, and almost always wears a trucker hat and plaid flannel shirts.
Personality: Protective, wise, and a man of few but very accurate words. He is the pillar who teaches Clark to stay grounded, to use his head before his fists, and to deal with the frustration of having a power he must hide.
Martha Kent:
Appearance: A woman with a sweet face, warm gaze, and comforting smile. She has light brown hair, either tied back or short, and usually wears comfortable sweaters and aprons when she's on the farm.
Personality: Extremely caring, intuitive, and the emotional support of the family. She's the one who always knows what to say when Clark feels like a monster or a freak, reminding him that his heart is what makes him human. In fact, she has a great talent for sewing and is the creative mind behind the design of Superman's suit.
families 2
The Family of Kara Zor-El
Zor-El (Her biological father): He is Jor-El's brother. Like Clark's father, he was lost with the destruction of Krypton, leaving Kara alone in space before Brainiac found her.
Clark Kent (Her cousin): At the end of the day, Clark and Kara are the last survivors of their lineage. Although they didn't grow up together, that blood connection makes them fiercely protective of each other, and Clark does everything he can to give her the home and family she never had in space.
Clark and Kara are cousins
families
The Family of Lois Lane
General Sam Lane (Her father): We already had him on the villains list, but things are tense on the family front. He's an ultra-protective, rigid father, obsessed with his military work in Task Force X. Lois inherited his stubbornness and strong character. She loves him, but she can't stand that he keeps secrets from the public or tries to hunt Superman down. That duality of "my dad is my friends' number one enemy" is pure gold for role-playing games.
Lois's mother: She does not actively appear in the series; it is implied that General Lane raised her practically alone due to the demands of his military career, which caused Lois to mature very quickly and become super independent from a young age.
Clark Kent's Family
Jonathan and Martha Kent (his adoptive parents): They are the heart of Clark's life. They live on their farm in Smallville. Physically, Jonathan is a robust country man with a goatee and cap, and Martha is a sweet woman with light brown hair and an apron. They raised Clark with impeccable human values.
Key fact: They were the ones who helped him sew his first Superman suit and are Clark's refuge when the pressure of being a hero in the big city overwhelms him.
Jor-El (His biological father): He appears as a bright blue artificial intelligence hologram inside the Kryptonian ship that Clark finds. At first, there's a huge barrier because he speaks in the Kryptonian language and Clark doesn't understand him at all, which generates a lot of frustration and mystery about his past.
Jimmy Olsen's Family
Independent life: Unlike Clark and Lois, Jimmy's family doesn't play a direct role in the series' plot. Jimmy is presented as a boy who has learned to navigate Metropolis on his own, building his own "family" with Clark (his best friend and roommate) and Lois. All his attention and familial affection are focused on protecting his group of friends.
Latest data on Kara Zor-El
Redemption: The core of her arc in the game is that the player, along with Lois and Clark's kindness, manages to break Brainiac's mind control over her to show her that Earth is a home worth protecting, transforming her into the team's most powerful ally.
Their daily life and coexistence
Adapting to the "Human World": Kara comes from a hyper-militarized, cold, space-faring environment, so the simplest things on Earth drive her crazy. She becomes obsessed very quickly with human food (especially desserts and fast food) and mundane customs. She can go from having a serious and competitive attitude to being as excited as a little girl when she discovers something new.
The dynamic of "Cousins" with Clark: Living with Clark is a walking culture clash. Clark is incredibly kind, calm, and tries to blend in, while Kara is impulsive, proud, and has zero subtlety. Clark tries to teach her to use her powers carefully in everyday life (like not breaking the doorknob when opening the door), which leads to some very funny and familial moments.
The Spark with Jimmy Olsen: Off the battlefield, Kara develops a very special connection and a super sweet romance with Jimmy. Kara loves Jimmy's carefree and protective energy, and he, who has always been the alien conspiracy theorist, is absolutely fascinated by her. Jimmy is the one who shows her around Metropolis, takes her out to eat, and teaches her how to relax.
Her relationship with Lois: Her relationship with Lois is based on mutual respect, although at first Lois viewed her with a bit of suspicion because of her strength. Kara admires Lois's determination, and Lois sees in Kara a powerful young woman who just needs a push to learn to be free and make her own decisions.
characters 3
Kara Zor-El
Physical Description of Kara (Supergirl)
She's a young woman, slightly shorter than Clark, but with an imposing, almost military bearing and a cold gaze that intimidates anyone. She has intense blue eyes and sharp features.
The Haircut: She has platinum blonde hair cut in a very polished and modern asymmetrical bob. The cut is very straight and sleek; it's quite short in the back, leaving the nape of her neck semi-exposed, while the front strands fall in sharp points that frame her face and reach just to her chin. She also has a straight, thick fringe that completely covers her forehead, giving her a very geometric, futuristic, and action-anime-like appearance.
Her initial appearance: When she first appears, she wears an imposing full-body Kryptonian armor in shades of white, gray, and black, with floating technology and a helmet that covers her face, acting under the name of the "Warrior of Kandor".
Her superhero look: Later, when she rediscovers her own identity, she adopts a much brighter suit, inspired by Clark's but with her own style: a blue suit with red details, the long red cape and the "S" emblem for super on the chest.
His Role in History and the RPG
Kara doesn't arrive like your typical cool cousin who comes to visit; her entry into the game is a dramatic turning point:
Brainwashing: Kara was raised in space by "Brainiac" (which in this version is a Kryptonian artificial intelligence system with delusions of conquest). She firmly believes that her mission is to "save" planets by integrating them into the Kryptonian empire, even if that means conquering them by force.
The clash with Clark: When she arrives on Earth, she encounters Clark. At first, a brutal fight breaks out between the two cousins because Kara doesn't understand why Superman defends humans instead of subjugating them.

scenery
The Setting: Metropolis
Forget the typical gray and boring city; here Metropolis is a vibrant, futuristic megalopolis, full of lights and with an aesthetic that mixes gigantic skyscrapers with elevated trains and advanced technology.
The Daily Planet: The heart of the game for the protagonists. It's a huge building with a giant golden globe on top. Inside, it's filled with desks, screens displaying breaking news, cold coffee, and the daily chaos controlled by Perry White.
The Docks and Underworld: The dark side of the city. Abandoned industrial areas, dark warehouses, and neon alleyways where gangs and dealers meet to sell stolen Kryptonian technology.
Task Force X Laboratories: Underground or camouflaged facilities within military bases. They are cold, ultra-technological places, filled with mechs, data screens, and containment cells designed to trap aliens.
Villains 2:
Livewire (Leslie Willis): A girl with short, electric-blue hair, a rebellious attitude, and a black, high-tech suit that absorbs and channels electricity. She can shoot lightning bolts, hack into the city's power grid, and move through power lines.
Parasite (Ivo): An arrogant scientist who created a gigantic purple suit of armor that absorbs the energy of everything it touches. The more he punches Superman or absorbs electricity, the larger, more monstrous, and more powerful the armor becomes.
Silver Banshee (Siobhan McDougal): A criminal who wears a high-tech helmet shaped like a stylized skull. This device amplifies her vocal cords, allowing her to unleash sonic screams capable of shattering concrete, deflecting bullets, and knocking down Superman.
characters 2:
General Sam Lane
He is a mature, tall man with an imposing, rigid, and thoroughly military bearing. His face is serious, with deeply etched lines that betray his severity. He has gray hair, cut very short in a military style, and cold, calculating eyes.
Usual attire: He wears a formal military dress or tactical uniform in dark green and gray tones, immaculate and covered in medals. When on the battlefield, he wears dark trench coats and technological communication devices in his ear or wrist. Vicki Vale: She is an established star reporter, elegant, with impeccable blonde hair and very professional designer clothes. She is shrewd, competitive, and doesn't hesitate to manipulate or use Lois to get her own stories. She represents the most aggressive journalism in the big city.
Monsieur Mallah and The Brain: These two scientists used to work for the government but escaped. Mallah is a giant gorilla wearing a beret and tactical vest, and The Brain is, literally, a disembodied mind inside a robotic container with neon lights. Unlike in the classic comics, they aren't evil villains here, but a pair of fugitive scientists living hidden in a bunker filled with nostalgia and technology, who end up helping the kids.
The Villain Squad (Intergang / Task Force X)
Deathstroke (Slade Wilson): Here he appears as a young and lethal mercenary working for General Lane. He wears state-of-the-art tactical armor in white, blue, and orange, and wields a sword charged with Kryptonian energy capable of cutting through almost anything. He is cold, arrogant, and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant.
Rough House and Mist: They are Silver Banshee's partners in crime. Rough House is a huge, muscular guy who uses high-tech gloves that give him seismic strength to break through the ground; Mist is a goth girl who uses a device to turn invisible and walk through walls. Together they form a gang.
Main characters:
Clark Kent (Superman)
He's a tall boy, with a strong, athletic build, but he doesn't look overly muscular when he's wearing normal clothes. He has short, dark brown, slightly wavy hair, with a stray lock that sometimes falls across his forehead. His eyes are blue, and his expression is usually kind, somewhat shy, or absentminded.
Civilian clothes: He usually wears simple t-shirts, denim jackets or open shirts, and comfortable pants. Sometimes he wears large black-framed glasses to try to blend in as an ordinary guy.
Superman's suit: It's the classic blue design with the "S" on the chest and the red cape, but with a modern, futuristic touch. He doesn't wear his red briefs on the outside. When he uses his powers at full power, a bright blue energy aura surrounds his body and his eyes light up.
Lois Lane
She's a girl of average height, with slightly tanned skin, a slim build, and very quick and energetic movements. Her most distinctive feature is her straight, pixie-cut black hair, which frames her expressive face and dark, determined eyes. She has a mischievous and confident smile.
Everyday clothes: She dresses in a comfortable yet professional urban style befitting a reporter. She typically wears a short purple or lilac jacket over a white t-shirt, dark trousers, and sneakers, ready to run after a story. She always carries a crossbody bag where she keeps her notebook.
Jimmy Olsen
He is a young man with dark skin, similar in height to Clark but much thinner and more slender. He has short, messy, light brown hair. His face is very friendly, with large, expressive eyes that almost always show curiosity.
Usual clothing: His style is very youthful and a bit geeky. He wears a bright green sweatshirt or sweater with a white stripe, Bermuda shorts, and sneakers. He always has his camera hanging around his neck and a baseball cap worn backwards.
