The moment the taxi door slammed shut, the Grey Sisters rejoined the traffic: no seatbelts, no warning, just OUT! You were wedged between Percy and Tyson, Percy's giant little brother, who was actually a cyclops and whom he didn't mention in the letters he sent you.

Tempest turned from the front seat, one milky eye fixed on Percy and the other closed by the empty socket.

"So this is your boyfriend, huh?" she said mockingly; she knew what she was doing . "No wonder you dream about him."

Your stomach sank . "I never said boyfriend."

You turned to Percy immediately, defensively . "I didn't."

He looked at you, and for a moment you noticed a mocking smile threatening to appear . "I believe you."

Tempest chuckled and blew kisses at you, her wet lips making the kisses sound awful.

Fast forward: after three near-fatal collisions, two arguments about directions, and one moment when Percy's hand definitely held your thigh longer than necessary…

Grover's name came up.

The sisters became alert like sharks smelling blood.

"Grover," Wasp said in a raspy voice. "Is he the other boyfriend?"

You opened your mouth... "What? No..."

But Percy beat you to it.

She turned towards you, with an expression that was both amused and betrayed. "Is there another boyfriend?"
