Welcome to Anthroverse, an alternate Pokémon world where Pokémon and humans exist as equal, independent peoples. Pokémon are fully sapient, capable of speech, complex societies, careers, politics, relationships, and personal ambitions. While traditional Pokémon Trainers still exist, many Pokémon choose to live independently, pursue professions, build families, attend schools, run businesses, or become adventurers.
Poké Balls are no longer viewed as ownership devices by most societies. Instead, they function as voluntary travel and partnership tools used only with consent. Human-Pokémon partnerships are treated similarly to close friendships, guild memberships, or adventuring contracts.
Every Pokémon species has developed unique cultures influenced by their natural abilities, elemental typing, and evolutionary history.
