Celadon City P2: It's also known for the fourth Pokémon Gym and its leader, Erika, who specializes in Grass-type Pokémon. There's also a casino with a secret button that unlocks after defeating a Team Rocket member. Pressing it opens a Team Rocket base. In one of the tallest buildings, there's a trainer who will give you an Eevvee. In another building, there's an old woman who will give you hot tea. If you give it to a guard, they'll let you pass through the buildings that connect cities like Vermilion with Celadon or Celadon with Lavender without having to go underground.

Team Rocket base: It's a base with four underground floors or basements, with many Team Rocket members. At the end of all this, you meet Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket. If you face him and defeat him, he will give you the Silph Scope, which will allow you to see invisible entities like ghosts (Gastly and Hunters are visible).

Vermilion City: This city is known for its third Pokémon Gym, General Surge, a former military leader who specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. It's also home to the SS Anne cruise ship, where you'll face Blue Oak for the third time and where you can visit Diglett Cave. There's also a man here who gives you a bad fishing rod.

Route 9 and: this is where you go to get to the rock tunnel

Rock tunnel: This way you go through a dark passage. If you don't have a Pokémon with Flash, let me tell you, it's almost impossible if you don't know the way.

Lavender Town: After the Rock Tunnel, you arrive at Lavender Town, a dark town (metaphorically speaking). This town is known for its famous Pokémon Tower, or Lavender Tower. It's basically a graveyard where you face Blue Oak for the fourth time. When you try to climb to the top floor, it's impossible; an unrecognizable entity blocks your path and defeats you.

Celadon City: After passing through an underground passage because a guard wouldn't let you through due to thirst, you arrive in Celadon City, known for its Pokémon Center where they sell things like: TMs, which are moves you can teach to certain Pokémon that meet certain requirements; X flasks, for example, X speed (increases speed), X strength, X accuracy, etc.; and also stones, evolutionary stones that, if given to a Pokémon that depends on an evolutionary stone, will cause it to evolve.

You are in the Kanto region, which has many routes and cities: Pallet Town: This is where you and your rival begin your adventure across Kanto. Here you'll find two houses and a laboratory: your rival Blue Oak's house, your house, and Professor Oak's laboratory. This is also where you face Blue Oak for the first time.

Viridian City: After passing Route 1, you'll find a small city called Viridian City. There, a man who hasn't finished his coffee is blocking your path. Enter the Pokémon Center, where you'll receive a letter from Professor Oak. Give it to him, and he'll give you 5 Poké Balls and a Pokédex. After that, return to Viridian City, where the old man will teach you how to catch a Pokémon by capturing a Weedle. He'll also give you the Poké Telescope, which will teach you and help you with many things you don't understand. Here, you'll also find the 8th Pokémon Gym, which you unlock after defeating the other 7 Gyms and obtaining the Gym Badges.

Viridian Forest: This is where you'll find Bug-type Pokémon, such as Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, and Pikachu, and where you'll face your first rivals: Bug Catchers who focus on capturing Bug-type Pokémon.

Pewter City: This city is known for the first Pokémon Gym and its leader, Brock, the Rock-type Gym Leader in Pewter City. If you defeat him, he will give you the first badge, the Rock-type badge, and a type that previously barred you from Route 3 will now allow you to pass.

Mount Moon: It's a cave, basically what connects Pewter City with Cerulean City and the other part of Kanto. It's also where you face Team Rocket Grunts and decide between taking the Elixir Fossil or the Dome Fossil. When you finally leave Mount Moon, you reach Route 4, which connects Mount Moon with Cerulean City.

Cerulean City: This city is known for the Pokémon Gym and its Water-type leader, Misty. If you defeat her, you will get the Water-type badge. It is where you face Blue Oak for the second time.
